Are you afraid of the dark? and tales from the crypt

hmm the first one wasnt telecast where i live but i did see the second one a few times. im a horror buff but i mainly watch scary movies.

I remember watching these shows when I was a kid. I never really wanted to watch them but they came on just before the Benny Hill show, and it was the one that I always stayed up to watch. I end up watching them anyway even though they also scared me shiftless! I've not seen them in re-runs nowadays.

I love watching horror movies and even playing horror games specially when I'm still young. I played that on PS1 before. I don't remember how many times did I saw that movie in HBO and even some local channels here in my country. My kids loves to watch too but they are not afraid I just told them that is only a movie and very hard to belief it happens in reality. Sometimes they tease there playmate and they frighten them.

I remember both of those and watched them faithfully when they were on..lol. They are nothing compared to the things we watch now though. You know..I liked that show Outer Limits too. It was really good.

I watched a few of the tales from the crypt. Those scared me a lot when I was younger. If I watched them today I probably would still be scared. I try to stick to happy and cheery movies now.

I remember watching a few episodes of "Are you afraid of the dark?", when I was a kid. I didn't watch a lot of it, or even on a regular basis, but I do remember the show. It's been such a long time since I've seen the show.

Tales from the Crypt used to be pretty eery stuff. I remember watching them and getting weirded out by them. Not really scared. I am not usually afraid of the dard unless it is spirder webby and creepy that way. If it is a clean but dark place it isn't so bad.

I watched, and loved, both of them. Are You Afraid of the Dark? used to some on SNICK. I miss how much fun Nickelodeon used to be when I was young. I have a lot of Tales from the Crypt on DVD. I would like to get copies of the Tales From the Crypt animated series too. And, along those same lines, did you ever see the "Goosebumps" television series?

As a child some of these stories scared me. I found 'The Birds' particularly bad as I lived in an area that they always gathered on overhead cables. Loved the 'Hammer House of Horror' movies- don't know if they reached you in the US- they were rather kitsch classic bad guy/ good guy set in usually Medieval or Victorian times. To be honest I'm more afraid of the living now; the likes of those that will walk with packpacks filled with explosives into busy urban areas- or send children bound with remote detonated charges to checkpoints...
