Do you take pictures for fun or are you artistic with your photos?

First of all, I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. I enjoy taking photos, though I no longer spend a lot of time with them except on vacations.

I studied fine art photography in college with Becky Young. I then did photojournalism in Graduate school to help make some spare $$. I learned to mix both the work and the fun.

I now take my camera with me most of the time, but rarely get it out. On occasion I still take some pictures, both candid and model pictures, usually the latter when someone requests.

I do believe one can find beauty in nearly everything; you just have to find the right perspective.

I am some what artistic about my photograph.I take picture of something which is unusual.

I am the type who likes to capture anything and everything. I would like to take my camera with me more places, but the mood has to inspire me.

I also take photos to document events, but they all tend to turn out somewhat artistic.

Here is apic I took after my son made an snow angel. I watch him make it through the window and saw him smile big while doing do. I wanted to capture that memory so I hope this pic loads here with this response.

I don't usually keep a camera with me, so most of my decent shots happen when I'm on holiday, just because i have the opportunities. I like to take landscape shotsmostly and pretty much anything that might look good.

I've taken more than ever since my daughter was born, but that is wearing off now. Since joining microstock sites, I will be (hopefully) taking some more artistic and contemporary shots.

I take my digital camera with me to as many trips and occaisions as I can. I try really to capture memories and emotions. There have been times when I have forgotten it, and that can be upsetting, if I really wanted to capture certain shots. I like to get poses of people and groups that look fun and interesting. I also like to take scenic pictures. I am trying to get better at it, but it will take sometime for me to perfect my precision and settings on the camera, and to also take shots that are "photographically right." It is fun, even if it can be annoying lugging the camera around (it is pretty small, but I am too, and I am always "askew").

I used to take pictures mostly of my children, and of course expanded it to events . They are grown up now so I don't take near as many pictures. Since I switched to a digital camera I take a lot of pictures of my pets . I also take pictures of objects that I want my online friends to see . The last few months I have started taking picture that I guess would be viewed as artistic . I am always trying to get a good picture of the sun rising, or the ocean or the changing seasons.

Most of my photos are of sporting events. I like to try to capture the action and the emotion of the sport. Some would call that artistic. I am in the process of posting some of my action photos to mylot. Visit me and view my photos as I add more to my photos.

I take pictures for souvenirs...either funny or artistic.
