I didn't know that but I do know that eggs are very good for you just as long as you don't fry them. Eggs are a tremendous source of everything from protein to vitamins to healthy monounsaturated fat. Although eggs do contain cholesterol it really isn't a sizeable amount. Obviously, if you have particularly high cholesterol you shouldn't be eating dozens of eggs each week. But five or six eggs weekly really wont have any effect at all (just as long as they've not touched the frying pan).

I knew eggs were very good for us. I didn't know the actual ingredient incvolved.
I love eggs and would eat them every day, but they say eggs are too high in cholesteral.

I must be or should be extremely brainy then because I'm always eating eggs, mainly in the omelettes I make for myself, I usually add 3 or 4 eggs to make a nice big one! I eat eggs mainly for the protein because I do a lot of body work at the gym, so it has a double bonus for me then!

I did know that eggs are brain food. I was also told by a naturopath that the "bad" in eggs is a myth and that eggs are really very good for you. I am not sure why people say it's not okay to fry them. I think it depends on what you fry them in. I think PAM is okay.
Blueberries are also brain food. It is suggested kids have blueberries and eggs before they take a test at school. Hardboiled eggs are big in our house.

Yes it is but ppl that have colesteral problems have to watch their intake on eggs. I was told by my doctor i can only have 2 eggs a week. I use to have 2 aday. I dont know if i got that way from eating eggs every day or what. So just be careful on the intake of eggs.

I never had heard of this before but I can believe it. Before I went on disability I took 2 hard boiled eggs and an apple everyday for breakfast. My granddaughter who is 15 months old loves eggs. Once they hit that age the pediatrician said go ahead and give them to her. My husband takes pills for his cholesterol and nothering was ever mentioned about eggs. That could be because we kept a food journal and he doesn't eat eggs daily.
