How Do You Store Your Crochet Hooks?  

I have a small case I purchased just for crochet hooks Wasn't that expensive and sure saves a ton of time looking for them

Now if I could just rememeber where I put the pattern and yarn I was working on I would be able to locate the hooks too LOL

Just got settled in and still looking for things I knew I had

my mom keeps them in a pencil case (great idea!) but i keep mine in a small plastic box.

What a neat idea, I've never thought of doing something like this. Right now and for several years now I have a small sewing box, too small for what I need, that my Mom gave me years and years ago. That fits inside my larger sewing box and the small one is where I keep my crochet hooks - like you it means dumping them out to look for what I want but lately I've been using the same size for everything - but then all I've been doing is afghans in the same stitch. I may make myself one of these though.

I received a great cloth crochet needle holder a few years ago as a free gift. It has tiny pockets to hold your needles (I put mine in by size) and it folds over and ties with a pretty wrap a round ribbon.

I bought a small plastic school box in a clearance basket at Target right after school started. I paid twenty-five cents for it. I keep all of my crochet hooks and plastic canvas needles in it.

I don't crochet but knit instead. I store my knitting needles in a material bag that was intended for makeup brushes. It has an elastic loop that hold my knitting needles securely and keeps it organized.

well i guess i am the odd one out i just use a vase.

Honestly, I just keep mine in a cup. I keep my knitting needles in a taller cup.

I guess I'm just lazy.

That is a great idea for those who like to follow patterns. After the crocheted sweater that I made for my granddaughter, I realized that I no longer wanted to work a crochet pattern! I use a tall coffee can to store all of my knitting needles and crochet hooks. The smaller ones go into my a small plastic case that I keep on top of the dresser.

I've never been talented in the art of crafts so I don't own any crochet hooks or needles.

I did come across a batch of hooks that I sold on a popular aution site. While I was looking at pricing I saw several homemade looking holders & organizers for sale. The prices were suprising. If a person wanted to be enterprising they could probably whip up a few of these little darlings and sell them on ebay for a pretty profit!
