Your vacuum? bag or bagless?  

I think I prefer the old bag variety of vaccum cleaners. Once the bag is full just take it out and throw it away. No botheration about cleaning and washing all the filters. I think I'll stick to my old one. I f the garbage men are not going to give back your old cleaner you can borrow mine whenever you want lol.

I have used both and I'm sticking with the bags.I had more problems with the filters getting clogged on the other ones and when you empty them the dust goes flying everywhere....kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me.

We've got a bagged hoover now which my FIL had. It is very good still and works well. I can still get the paper bags to fit it.
We had a bagless before that which would quickly lose suction the fuller the dust chamber was.Before that we had a cyclinder vacuum that didnt need a bag but was tremendously noisy.We still have that one but it lives in the shed as my ears would ring after using it and we decided that wasn't a good sign.
Definitely I prefer the ones with the bags.

Wait tile you hoover something damp without realising and it all sticks to the canister, lol, you will really be able to curse it then.
I have a dizzy dyson cylinder, other than that, I love it - not as heavy as a nupright and fits in the cupboard.
The old bags used to make me feel sick at least I can empty dizzy into the wheelie bin easily without affecting my asthma like the bags did.

I have the bagless and I love it. Actually it is on it's last leg, so I need to buy a new one. Want to sell my yours for cheap~lol!

I have the one with the bag and I prefer it over the bagless. Call me crazy but I have it stuck in my mind that with a bagless when you empty it not only do you breath the dirt you just vaccumed up but after you empty it you will then have to dust, because doesn't all that dirt fly around in the air? Too much work, dust, vac., redust.

I have the Bagless one and have had for years now I have to admit I prefer the Bagless one

I have both types of vacuum cleaners. I use the vacuum cleaner that has a bag in it, for my vacuuming in the home. It is alot easier to change out and keep clean. The bagless vacuum that I have, is used for vacuuming out the car and the truck. It is alot easier to use outside than my upright that has a bag in it. I agree that the one without the bag is a pain in the butt to keep clean, but it does save money without having to buy bags for it. I prefer to use the upright vacuum that has a bag in it, because it is alot easier to vacuum in the home. I prefer the bagless outside because it is easier to handle outside and you do not have to worry alot about sucking up too much moisture. You can always clean the moisture out of the container. The garbage man may be nice enough to give your vacuum back if he can find it laugh out loud.

Living in a hot climate we don't possess a vacuum. However I can remember the old days back in Australia when I used to suffer from hay fever everytime I emptied the bagless vacuum. Bags I think are highly overpriced but a much healthier option.

I love my bagless vacuum. I could never find the right bag for my vacuum or when I changed the bag I would always spill it. I love the bagless. It is great for me. Plus I like to look at the dirt that the vacuum sucks up off the floor.
