What's the most you've ever made off of Ebay?  

I made $160.00 not too long ago. I sold an iPod. I wasn't expecting to get a lot, but it was nice to get close to the full price for it. I used it to buy a used computer.

It would be 800.00 US for an online character in the game Gemstone IV. A far cry from my record of 10,000.00 US in 1998 for a character in the same game but that was a private sale. I used to sell the currency for the game through ebay as well, used to make a tidy little sum for just playing a game I enjoyed.

I've been selling for over 3 years, so let me think...I guess I can give you a few ideas of what I've made, they won't be exact figures.

One time I got free CD sets to teach Hebrew and Polish. I sold all 4. I made about $150 minus costs. I also sold a vintage John F. Kennedy poster for about $80, a set of Kentucky Derby glasses for about $75 and lots of books, some of them were romances, Christian books for about $20 -$30. These were all free too!

I love eBay and really work hard to make money. My digital camera is broken now so I can't list. I'll be looking to buy a new one soon. I plan on opening an eBay store soon.

We sold a lamp from Ikea (a furniture store) for about 30 some odd dollars...i haven't sold a lot, prolly about 6 things...summer is not a good time anyways, so i will wait til the fall again :-)

Hhmm thats a tough question actually cause we've sold a lot of stuff on Ebay and a wide variety of things from just stuff to vintage and antique tpe items...We've had numerous items go for over $100 though which is fabulous...one was a mislabeled vintage Fisher Price toy that was my hsubands as a kid and another was a vintage huge map...

I had a T shirt I bought in a charity shop, it turned out to be a genuine designer label and sold for £40

The most I ever made off of something I sold on eBay was $175. I make chainmaille armour (like the knights used to wear) and I was very excited to see that a chainmaille head piece I made went up for that high of a price!!!

I tend to not use eBay as much anymore. I found a great site for just handmade things, and you can set a price for it instead of having people bid. (The site is http://www.etsy.com)

As part of my business Ebay account it would be £300 which is about $500 maybe? I have a few shops on Ebay selling various things but the items that sell for £300 are golf trolleys. On my personal account it would probably be a Chanel bag I'd never used which sold for £180 - about $300.

I had a camcorder from the early 90's--one of the bigger sizes, not the palm held ones. We hadn't used it for about 2-3 years, the battery wouldn't stayed charged, so we had to keep it plugged in whenever we recorded on it. I listed it on ebay just hoping to get someone to bid something on it. I start almost all my auctions at 0.99. My husband thought I was crazy! Anyway, it ended up selling for $65.00! I've also sold text books. Right now I'm listing a textbook for a friend. I listed it yesterday and earlier today it was already at $31! Jeans always seem to sell good, along with name brand clothes.

The most I have made in a single sale on eBay was a rare postage stamp I sold to a collector in Hong Kong, in 2003 for US$2,026.00. I have been a seller on eBay for about nine years, and have sold maybe 5-6 items for more than $1000.00-- all have been some kind of antique or collectible: an old Rolex watch, a vintage Leica camera, a blown glass sculpture, an antique solid gold fountain pen... those kinds of things. The stamp was the best "deal" though, because it only cost me about $15.
