It's a nice day, sunny, in the 50s.
I'm taking a break from Faith to Believe for the moment. It's an emotionally heavy book. My brain needs a break.
After two days of backpain, my back is finally feeling decent again. I got the...

So America are going back to the Moon tomorrow even though half of Americans think they haven't even been yet. Whilst the Earth spins at a mind boggling 1000 mph plus the Moon can only manage 10 mph. One rotation is 27.3 days....

It seems like posting slightly un-timely discussions about events is my forte lately. Or, maybe I can borrow my friend, @xander6464 's time machine and then the post would be right on time....

As I was cooking my lunch it really started to rain. Up to then, rain was just a nuisance. Now, I am sure that even Luna will not dare go out of her house until it stops.
I don´t mind rain too much but I do mind the cold. I was...

The historic moon landing happened 50 years ago but how many know that Carnarvon, a small West Australian town, was instrumental, indeed vital, in the success of the mission.
Carnarvon is almost directly opposite NASA’s launch...

I am a "NASA baby," according to my mother. My parents met when both worked at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi (formerly known as NSTL). My father was an engineer there and my mother, a secretary. My dad also worked at the...

Few months ago NBA star Kyrie Irving claimed that the earth is flat. I thought he was kidding; but he is not. Mr. Irving really believes that the earth is flat!
I read an article today that a 61-year-old man from California (USA)...

Most people are familiar with the ordeal of the Apollo 13 crew. Do you remember what happened?
The mission to land on the Moon for the third time was aborted after an oxygen tank exploded two days into the flight, causing major...

After being flown to Las Angeles on the back of another plane, and then towed through the streets of Los Angeles by a small Toyota pickup truck at a cost of $2 billion, the space shuttle Endeavor ended up in its own hangar at the...

Moving the Space Shuttle Endeavor to the California Science Museum was not a cheap proposition. Above is a photo of the moving bill to "transfer excess personal property."
Actually, saying that it cost $2 billion was a bit of an...

One of the most amazing parts of bringing the Space Shuttle Endeavor to Los Angeles four years ago was to see this gigantic aircraft being towed through the streets of the city.
Hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets...

Did you know that our moon is just slightly larger than the "planet" Pluto, which some say is NOT a planet after all. Our moon seems very large because it is very close to the Earth, about 240,000 miles.
Our moon is the Earth's...

I was watching a TV show saying that men landing on the moon could have been faked. They had reasons such as...if there is no air on the moon then why is the American flag waving in the video of them placing it on the moon. Also...
