I have heard that if you pick your nose and eat your boogers, that it is actually healthy for you. I think it is because you eat a small amount of germs that may be in your boogers and it helps your body build up a tolerance...

Why do they? Is it an impulse? I can understand if the "boogies" are interfering with your breathing and it's an emergency... but people do it when they are driving... why?
