What diaper rash ointment/remedy worked best for you?

Here they really promote desitin and balmex. But neither ever worked for my daughters. I have found that A&D brand works better for my little ones. It clears up a diaper rash very quickly and doesn't hurt them when its applied.

...my great grandmother told me that back in the day they browned flour in a pan then cooled it off,stored it in a can for diaper rash...alittle messy...but it sure works...for thrush in the mouth or yeast rashes on the bum...rub...

Ive tried everthing on the market - from Desitan to zinc oxide cream! My cousin's baby is so loaded with the rash - we've switched formula, from disposable diapers to cloth ones washed in baby non-allergetic detergent. Help!
