This morning one of the rarest sightings (Tamsyn, my daughters dog, normally sleeps in.) Tamsyn got up and came upstairs to get a treat.
So all 4 dogs were presents.
It was of course expected that I would provide a...

Nor are they wooden carvings. These are the dogs waiting for breakfast. They used to wait for Godot, but well we all know why they stopped waiting for Godot. Now, the wait for breakfast....

I was informed, by my dog Dylan, that there was a tax on Pretzels. I did not know about this tax and in the past had not paid it.
Dylan arrived to collect the tax.

He also hates most clothes, in fact, a bowtie, this sweater, and a red sweater are the only things he will ever wear.
But I love this picture of my snoopy chacter Joe Cool!!!
Dogs are fun to...

An early and rarely recorded Bob Dylan song, only issued later in his career from Bootleg compilations.
The song is mostly a spoken ballad, a proto-rap style used by Dylan’s hero Woody Guthrie and later by Arlo Guthrie in The...

The other dog that lives with us (or is it allows us to live with him?) is Dylan. He is a Lab Rescue like his sister.
Dylan was originally brought into the family so that I could have a walking companion.
That was seven years...

It was hearing an audio performance of this poem that first made me fall in love with poetry, though it would be a decade later before I wrote some myself. It remains my favourite poem ever.
Some children see an adult...

I've been seeing lots of posts about songs so I thought to myself, why not make one as well.
Anyway, this is nothing new actually since everyone has their own favorite song or songs. Mine is Dylan's song, Mr tambourine man.
The...

A 1975 song about a man arrested for a murder he did not commit. The song played a significant part in overturning the conviction.
Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter was a leading middleweight boxer, though many do not share Dylan’s...

I was listening to the Pete Seeger/Joe Hickerson song “Where have all the flowers gone” the other night (Peter, Paul & Mary version) and tonight the thought occurred to me, where did all the hippies go? (Once upon a time, you...

I think what happened in Orlando is a tragedy but to label Omar as a terrorist and yet Dylan Roof killed black men and women in cold blood but he's just mentally insane or not well. I completely disagree. They are both terrorist.

Many songs remind me of people in my life. I am quite a sentimentalist. My song challenge entry, sad songs, was influenced by songs I associated with my father.
My first girlfriend – Rod Stewart’s Sailing – we met on a cruise in...

I first heard this song on an album my mom had. It was Bob Dylan's second album, “Freewheeling,” which he recorded in 1962.
The song has been associated with the Cuban missile crisis, but Dylan has never really said what it...

Thanks to blabber mouth Sharon, Adam charged off and confronted Chelsea and in the presence of Dylan. Chelsea was really cornered. If she admitted that Adam was the father, then Adam would sue for custody and maybe even get it....
