Hello i have 2 sets of finches and i have gone though many sets off eggs. this time i got 2 babies but on the 3rd day they died. does anyone have tips on what to feed ect to help me get though the next time.

How do I know the birds I buy aren't from the wild?

I'd like to buy some birds, small parakeet or finch types. I'd like to be sure they came from good breeders and not wild caught. Is there a way to look this up?

We put out a bird feeder this winter will this stop the return of the finches...

This spring? Do think by doing this the larger birds will not allow for the return of the finches? We love watching the little finches. These so called morning doves are messy and annoying, Should I take this feeder down?
