The last pork loin chops I cooked were dry and tough. Not sure what I did wrong. I am marinating some today.
I will make a sauce with peppers and pineapples and serve the pork with rice.
I am, in fact, cooking up rice to portion...

A man brought in a service dog, which is fine and completely legal, but they kept asking him to keep away from where the food is prepared to keep the dog under the table and not take it to the serving station, for sanitary reasons...

I had one of the kids peel 5 pounds of potatoes and put them in a bowl of water in the garage fridge two days ago so that I could make the make-ahead mashed potato casserole for Thanksgiving today.
To my horror, the potatoes...

My hands are almost numb from arthritis pain, but I've accomplished a bit in the kitchen today, at least food prep-wise.
I shredded 4 sweet potatoes (although someone peeled them for me) and made 4 sheet pans of sweet potato...
