The one I saw today is called "The shadow of a doubt" (1943)....

Yes I was a little desperate last night. Nothing on to watch. The Sundance channel was running old Alfred Hitchcock movies. I had seen most of them, many times.
"The Birds" came on and I caught the last half of the movie. Now I...

1938 – Spoiler alerts
Regarded by many as among Alfred Hitchcock’s best movies, I find it rather disappointing. It veers wildly from screwball comedy to melodrama, to mystery to spy thriller without really settling on any of...

I just watched Get Out and really enjoyed it. It had been a while since I had seen a horror movie, even though I usually really enjoy those. I used to be scared of horror movies, but I've always been rather drawn to them as well....

Daphne Du Maurier wrote the novel Jamaica Inn while staying in the real pub of that name in Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. Thanks to the success of the book and this Hitchcock movie, the pub is still a major...

Rear Window is one of my favorite Hitchcock films. Like the protagonist in that movie, I see interesting things from my rear window. Actually it's my front window, but it faces the rear of our apartment complex. Sitting at my desk...

When I was 12 and he was 8, my brother and I went through a scary movie phase. We begged our parents to let us watch classic horror films like "The Exorcist" and "Psycho."
My parents weren't strict about movie watching, so they...

What do you think is the best horror movie of the 1900's? I would have to go with the original Alien movie. I think it is so intriguing and really engaging but is still absolutely terrifying. I also love Alien as a character, so...

I don't know why this woman is so stupid to be intimidated by the maid on this movie, I mean she is the lady of the house and she is supposed to be ruling her! I know that she came from a regular family and not used to...

This movie was made in 1960 then remade in 1998. If you have never seen either version AND you've never even heard about what happens in it, I urge you to go out and rent it, the original if at all possible. Don't read anything,...

Last night the channel AMC was playing an all day lineup of Alfred Hitchcock movies. Psycho was of course shown, as well as Vertigo, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and The Birds. There were more I can't think of as well. Rebecca...
