Do we need to give money to beggars?

Is it our responsibility?? As people who earn money, as Christans, as neighbors, are we obliged to give something to them? i think we are a bit obliged to give money to them- but if we do, they'll never stop asking for money.....

are we obligated?

when we've left the nest and raised families ourselves, are we still obligated to give financial assistance to our parents?
