We have never been able to figure out what kind of breed(s) Franklin is. We think some retriever, shepherd and maybe hound (he can be very "chatty"). This is the first picture we ever saw of him, from teh rescue website. The group had named him "DeeOhGee" (get it? D-O-G) but I just couldn't bear to be yelling that out the back door for years to come.
