One of my chinchillas. These little creatures come from Chile in South America and are nearly extinct in the wild. They are very sweet natured, never really bite, have no sharp claws and have really soft cuddly fur. They love sand baths to keep their fur looking it's best. They also like to run about outside the cage. They are nocturnal so like to play with people in the evening and sleep in the day.

My beautiful little degus. Degus originate from Chile in South America and are very social pets. They make lovely weeping noises and have a pretty black tuft at the end of their tail. This can come of if you hold their tail too tightly. They have to be fed a very strict diet as they are intolerant to sugar, and if fed too many sugary foods can die early or develop diabetes. They love to climb and make entertaining pets.
