In the himalayas the diurnal range is shorter. Days are shorter. One of the reasons is the alpine vegetation they cover huge amount of height. So the sun can penetrate for shorter time. In winter it snows. In summer also it is...

The future is yet to be seen. A lot of things could happen here on Earth that we can't even fathom yet. If we do have to recolonize on Mars in the future what things would you have to have near you to feel at home? Indoors I would...

During monsoon in June July August the vegetation in countryside is cleaned up. Rainwater is a very good cleaning agent. By the time autumn appears the countryside looks clean. They look better than the vegetation in the summer.

Certain rocks are formed due to geographical reasons including change in temperature. For the typical types of formation these rocks dont attract vegetation. There are no shrubs and plants. The rocks really look very different.

I've taken similar photos before but saw these while taking my walk at lunch and figured I would grab another pic.

I saw these while on my lunch-time walk and figured I would grab a photo because they looked kind of pretty (though I know they will give you a pretty bad belly ache if you eat them). Didn't notice the spiderweb until just now.

I'm pretty sure these aren't edible, but I thought they looked pretty nice (almost fall-like though I'm not really ready for that yet) so I took a photo while stalking that rabbit.

I live at the heart of the city, in a crowded area where one can rarely see any vegetation. Now, as a result of formula feeding to my less than three year old youngest child, I have already accumulated a three-tier pile of empty...
