Shouldn't we say "children" instead of "kids"?

Cristian Ichim @Cristi_Ichim (3745) • Bucharest, Romania 21 Nov 15

A kid is the offspring of a goat but people nowadays are using it to also mean the offspring of humans. Wouldn't it be better if we would just call them "children" instead of "kids"?

Namelesss Young people grow up to be adults eventually turning into old goats. I think the term 'kid' is forward thinking at its best.

Do you like peanut butter?

Jacqui @euphie (573) • Ballymena, Northern Ireland 21 Nov 15

I like peanut butter flavoured things but when it comes to actual peanut butter, I don't like it. I don't like the texture or the flavour of peanut butter, although Reece's candies are a favourite of mine, particularly Reece's...

Does anyone else think that some of Tool's sounds and experimentations remind you of Pink Floyd, I have a few friends, myself included, that think that Tool is reminiscent of Pink Floyd, just wondered about all of your thoughts.

Just about every movie Christian Bale is in I immediately love. I didn't even realize that I loved some of the movies he was in when I was a child, too young to know who "Christian Bale" even was, such as "In the Land of Far and...

doubloonie The first movie that I first noticed and loved Christian Bale in is "Swing Kids". I loved all the swing music and swing dancing in the WWII setting. I would also have to say I loved him in Disney's "Pocahontas" as the voice of one of the characters. Heh. I...

Better Character: David Fisher (Six Feet Under) or Dexter Morgan (Dexter)

Erin Nicole Cochran @CallieWVU2 (520) • United States 17 Jun 08

I'm a huge fan of both shows, even though Six Feet Under was always usually pretty depressing, it was always quirky and different enough to keep your attention, and keep your brain moving. But Dexter, which is now on CBS (edited,...

piasabird Here's something we have in common, Callie! LOL I love the series, Dexter. I stopped watching Six Feet Under after about the second season. It kind of lost my interest. And then when I tried to pick it back up I felt like I had to missed too much to get back...

Xdrowninghavocx NIce choices! Six Feet Under will always be one of my favorite TV shows. So naturally I choose David Fisher. I liked his sarcasm and quirkiness. Dexter is pretty funny too, but I don't think he quite compares to the character David. Plus I like David's passion...

Kareng Bare Minerals! They have so many shades of eyeshadow and you can mix them to blend new shades too. The same goes for the foundations, if it is too light add some "warmth" to darken it!
