Do you believe in the flood during the days of Noah?

phynx15 @phynx15 (248) • India 27 Mar 10

The bible mentions about the flood due to the sins of humanity during the days of Noah. And there are also many tales about the flood that covers the whole earth. What is your opinion about the flood?

JudiAnn Forgiveness in not just laying down and taking it. To forgive is to pass your problem on to God, and trust Him to bring justice to the situation. It doesn't mean you need to be best buddies with those who hurt you, but be civil to them. It means going on with...

I started really getting into the bible about 18 years ago. Wish I had known what I know now, and I would've started many years earlier. But when I read at first, I ate up proverbs and psalms. But especially proverbs. I would read...

JudiAnn A) true, Jesus was most likely born in the spring. After all the shepherds were out keeping watch over their sheep at night (most likely during lambing season.) December 25 was chosen because there was a pagan holiday that Christians felt would be a good way...

Frederick42 @Frederick42 (2043) • Canada 19 Sep 09

You cannot evade by saying hell is a consequence. weourselves choose to go there. If God exists, then he is also the creator of consequences. If he is unconditionally loving how can he create hell? Let us understand the...

JudiAnn I think the problem lies in the assumption that everyone wants to go to heaven and be forever with God. What if you despise God? What if you would prefer to never have to deal with Him or be within His will? What if you prefer exercising your own will instead...
