Would you give your money away?

Metsrock69 @Metsrock69 (3605) • United States 23 Jan 19

Here in the US they have these machines at grocery stores that you can bring your bulk change to and cash it in for paper currency. Yes it is a good idea for those who don't have the time or patience to wrap them with coin...

Jim Bauer @Metsrock69 If my bank required rolls and trusted me, I might just roll one less coin in each wrapper.

Jim Bauer @Metsrock69 Luckily, my bank has a machine. So, I don't even have to roll it. I just walk in, go to the machine, dump in my change, and it prints out a slip I take to the teller and decide either to receive cash or deposit the amount the machine counted.

Jim Bauer There are two things I will not do. Pay to have my change processed or pay to withdraw my money from an ATM. Every penny matters and I will mind every single one. Every. Single. Time.

Fleur @Fleura (36191) • United Kingdom 7 Jul 25

My mother kept a lot (most!) of the things from my childhood, including many clothes, and then when I had children they had a new lease of life; Big One wore them, and in many cases Little One wore them as well. By then they had...

It’s Raining Iguanas

RasmaSandra @RasmaSandra (102010) • Daytona Beach, Florida 7 Jan 25

With a polar vortex making Florida very frigid, we now have to be careful of falling cold-stunned iguanas from trees. I feel sorry for the poor iguanas. Green iguanas, which are cold-blooded, were introduced to Florida decades...
