DE I'm glad you told us what it was supposed to be. I didn't see a snail in your photo. (Don't tell the owners but it looked like a pile of junk to me. )

divalounger @ScotMac I do think we are in an odd time in this pandemic--it is like we are ignoring it or like we have gotten used to the number of recurring deaths--

Modern golf originated in Scotland in the 15th century. The first written record is the banning of golf by James II in 1457 -- it was a distraction to learning archery. James IV lifted the ban in 1502. In 1764 the standard...

The Horse Golf bores me as well. And I am terrible at it! Interesting that James II banned it. Hard to kill enemies with golf balls, I suppose.

Torunn @ScotMac Yes, and maybe it'll make people less hysterical about the vaccines and the different "theories" to what they can cause. I don't think it's normal to think that the flu vaccine will micro-chip you. At least I hope not.

Torunn I haven't tried very hard to avoid it til now, yet I haven't caught it, but as all regulations are lifted, I only think about it when travelling. Do I need a vaccination pass or not? Do I have to wear a mask to get in? And will people pass out if I sneeze?...

Ron Rybs Still a concern as around 1000 people a week are dying from it, or so I saw the other day. The best is to hope it mutates into something like the flu. Not totally benign, but not completely deadly
