Here in the UK there are a fair few people who dislike the word MOIST …… For some it’s the word GUSSET ….. Words that I dislike are ….. Suffice Swill Are there any words that you dislike ?

Well we certainly did need the rain….they did say it was coming maybe over the weekend, maybe during the week. So it started earlier this evening ….. The garden will love it and it has saved me from watering the gardens...

Supermarket Lidl are in the last few days of a promotion where if you buy a product you get a free bakery item. I have already had a pizza. I have an apple turnover to collect and an item from today ….not checked what it is yet...

Traceyjayne It’s worked out pretty well for me. The shop is on my bus route home so I can call in most days….buy 1 item a day and get a freebie.

Traceyjayne @xFiacre. Oh yes, much nicer, although the doughnuts and muffins are nice from Lidl. I wish the apple turnovers had cream in them though . Still, a freebie is a freebie ….

So, as it’s Monday, The Mister was up at 4am to drive for 6 hours to where he is working in Scotland at the moment. ( after that he has to do a long full days work ) Anyway, this morning he was so tired that he had to pull over...

Traceyjayne He did get to work later than usual but he doesn’t do a 9 to 5 job so there is flexibility, it does mean his work partner couldn’t start til he got there though !

Traceyjayne My Mom very occasionally has Morrisons coleslaw but says it has changed now and isn’t as nice. We both usually make our own. Hope you made the cottage pie from scratch ….is your wife home now ?
