Here in the UK there are a fair few people who dislike the word MOIST …… For some it’s the word GUSSET ….. Words that I dislike are ….. Suffice Swill Are there any words that you dislike ?

Well we certainly did need the rain….they did say it was coming maybe over the weekend, maybe during the week. So it started earlier this evening ….. The garden will love it and it has saved me from watering the gardens...

So, as it’s Monday, The Mister was up at 4am to drive for 6 hours to where he is working in Scotland at the moment. ( after that he has to do a long full days work ) Anyway, this morning he was so tired that he had to pull over...

Kareng We got a nice thunderstorm late this afternoon, which was also much needed! It only lasted for about 2 hours. We have another good chance for another one tomorrow afternoon. I just hope the electricity doesn't go out tomorrow like it did today.

I have a cardiologist appointment in the morning, but I can already feel a migraine coming on, and I don’t want to get a cancellation fee tomorrow. I’ll just postpone now. Who wants to get out in the 104 F (40 C) heat anyway?

Amber I’ve had them since I was eight years old. Recently, they had been getting rare, but this heat seems to have brought them back.
