Toni @annierose The problem with learning Mandarin is that it's tonal. So it's not just the pronunciation but the tone which changes the meaning of your word or sentence as your tone changes. Not the same with French. That's why I never learned Thai language...

Kayla Tsukino @annierose Yes, they do. I knew when I first moved here mine was thick and strong. The first place I called home after I got here tried to "train" it out of me. by "correcting" my speach. They failed.

Jimbo45 @annierose Hang on. I am at the level that all native English speakers should be at , surely. I was this proficient when I was 10 years old. If I didn't know what something meant I went and found out.
