cdecker02 I personally hate IE and will never use it. I think they are doing a good job promoting it with their new search engine bing. They need to establish themselves as a browser that is trustworthy and secure. Sometimes, that's just the bane of being the first...

cdecker02 Wait and gather all the facts, don't believe rumors or gossip. You can hurt a lot of feelings and burn some bridges whether this information is true or false.

cdecker02 It's easier to say "follow your heart" than it actually is sometimes. But where there's a will, there's a way. Get creative and problem-solve, and weight the outcomes against the risks. In any case, no one should marry after only knowing each other for a few...

dark soda

3SnuggleBunnies @3SnuggleBunnies (16374) • United States 6 Mar 12

I was sent this article about there being carcinogenic food coloring in dark sodas. I knew the coloring was bad for you but I wasn't 100% sure where or why. This article is a reminder though the chance is small, however, if you...

cdecker02 There has been so much debate on this over several years. I don't know what to think about it. It will probably not curb my intake of colored sodas, at least not for a few years. If research continues to develop, it may warrant rethinking!

cdecker02 God exists, although it is unlikely it is in the way that most people view it. I personally think God can manifest in many different ways, kind of like a personalized experience. It doesn't work to fit a powerful being into a set set of rules.

Some dogs understand, some don't

HeresTheScoop @HeresTheScoop (748) • United States 5 Mar 12

Our shi-tzu, Keri, is such a good dog! She really understands when she's done something wrong and I'm scolding her. She was pooping in the dining room on a daily basis for about a week. I would show her and tell her that was a...

cdecker02 Personalities of dogs are different, just as humans are! Some dogs care, some dogs don't. I think some are also more sensitive to body language and tone than others are.

cdecker02 Glad things have calmed down. People often say things they don't mean and huge fights have a way of making people think the worst. The important thing is to talk to through what caused the fight and make sure all issues are settled so they do not cause...

gasoline myth or not?

3SnuggleBunnies @3SnuggleBunnies (16374) • United States 5 Mar 12

My hubby always says don't ever fill up on gas when there is a tanker truck there making a delivery of gasoline. He said it's because when they make a delivery it kicks up any crud or deposits from the bottom of the holding tank...

cdecker02 I have never heard of this before, but it makes sense. Dirt and debris can get into the tank when the lid is open and then sink to the bottom. It may depend on how empty the tank is, and if the flow of new gasoline is reaching far enough down to stir it up.

Sugar rush.... Is there such thing??

cyclopz @cyclopz (251) • Sydney, Australia 6 Mar 12

You might have experience seeing some parents who won't really allow their kids to take anything sweet especially at night time when they would be sleeping later on. They say kids won't be able to sleep if they would have sweets...

cdecker02 There is definitely such as thing as sugar rush. I think kids are more sensitive because of their smaller bodies. They also have less inhibitions, so they run around and show the signs of the sugar high more so than adults. Kids should avoid it at bedtime...

cdecker02 I live a town about that same size. I like it because it has the small town feel but just enough resources. It is also about only an hour away from a large metro city, so any resources that we are missing can be found there. I really like it because of its...
