crazcatlad I'm so sorry for the loss of your dog. It is so hard. Our pets are truly family and we grieve just like in a human death. Except that there is often less support because not everyone understands.

Which months did your pregnancy flow through?

maximax8 @maximax8 (31039) • United Kingdom 1 Oct 12

I believe that being heavily pregnant can be uncomfortable in the hot summer weather. Having a baby born in the winter the mom must make sure the baby is warm enough. I got pregnant in August 2006 and had my disabled son was born...

crazcatlad My daughter was born July 22 so I was very pg in the summer. It was a record-breaking hot summer and I was pretty miserable. Our air conditioning broke and I can remember my usually calm husband yelling at the HVAC guy that he had better get there now! My son...

crazcatlad My husband and I have been married 25 years. Our wedding was everything I could want. We were married in a non-denominational chapel on the campus of the university that my mom and other family members had attended and worked for. We aren't terribly religious...

If someone smokes near you?

Oktavist @Oktavist (396) • Romania 25 Aug 12

What is your reaction when someone gets his cigarette and starts smoking near you?Do you attract their attention or you quietly walk away? I am asking this because passive smokers present the same or even bigger risks than normal...

crazcatlad If possible, I just walk away. If I'm in a closed area where that's not possible, I do ask the person not to smoke around me. I tell them that I am allergic to smoke. That's kind of true. It interferes with my breathing. It has helped that my state ow outlaws...

crazcatlad Generally speaking, fish is healthier because it contains fewer of the bad fats, such as cholesterol, and more of the good fats, especially in fatty fish like salmon, tuna, etc. It is important to minimize mercury consumption, so farm-raised fish are safer...

crazcatlad That does seem high. Have you looked on craigslist or on freecycle.org in your area to see if someone is giving away or selling some of the equipment that you would need? I've heard that turtles can be delicate to raise. I don't see why you couldn't have one...

Porcospino @Porcospino (31354) • Denmark 27 Jun 12

One of my rabbits is very ill. Today I went to feed them and change their water like I usually do in the morning. One of the rabbits didn't touch the food at all and she almost couldn't walk. I was very worried and immediately...

crazcatlad I'm very sorry for your loss. I've never had a pet rabbit but I have 3 cats and I can relate. We get so attatched to our pets. It's hard when they get sick because they can't really tell us what's wrong.
