I need help with my blanket sales.. opinions greatly appreciated!

enchantedleppard @enchantedleppard (1540) • United States 13 Jan 13

I've been making fleece frayed/tied edge blankets. I mostly do custom orders. Rarely do I find a print that I really like to make a blanket for myself. I've found a couple in the past few months, made myself a couple of blankets,...

GreenMoo Personally, because my house has no decorating style of theme, I just like bright and quirky designs which catch my eye and cheer me up. My favourite blanket is a hotchpotch of cats in bright colours. Fabrics which appeal to a particular hobby might work....

jazel_juan I personally, i want things simple..so i usually go for plain patterns, usual in block colors, like blue, black, white, pink.. sometimes i choose with stripes designs.. i do not like ones with bold prints, its too heavy for my eyes lol.

yarnprty @yarnprty (56) • United States 29 Dec 12

I made some dishcloths as gifts this year for Christmas, and this is a pattern that I used/made up for some. I'll add a picture of them. :) I didn't count how many rows I did, but you can just crochet til you get it the length...

Fountain, bowl or something else? What's your cat's preference to drink out of or from? My cat only drinks from a bowl. She won't drink very much though, so I hope she gets plenty of liquid from her wet food. I am hoping that she...

The big beef debate

enchantedleppard @enchantedleppard (1540) • United States 11 Jan 13

Prices are going up, the price of meat is as high as ever. What about the quality? Do you know what is happening to that cow before it is processed? The thought disgusts me. But if you're an average American, your household...

OpinionatedLady We do the same buying from a local Amish farm. I like to buy from them because I know they do not believe in hormones and pesticides. I know that my meat and produce is fresh and not contaminated. I buy large amounts and then freeze, can or dry what ever we...

Everytime I blink it's sort of a sore pain in the corner of my eye. If I press then it is sore as well. I don't want to leave it as it's my good eye, and without it I can't see.

matersfish I'm always on the hunt for new and better chicken recipes. With the price of groceries today, chicken is one of the only affordable proteins out there. Beef is outrageously expensive. For ground beef, even the throwaway stuff, it's nearly $4/lb; and that's...
