frized17 it depends on ther speed of your internet because if your internet is too slow your wireless connection tru internet is same. And also your wireless router. just check the capability of your wireless router.

frized17 you can download a torrent client then install it to your computer then in your favorite browser type ebooks torrent. thats it you see torrent site with ebooks that is ready to download. but if you dont want to install torrent client go to www.forumw.org.

frized17 as we all know laptop is more expensive that desktop. if you want laptop you must consider some factor like is it posible for you in work? its your work is flexible? if not then you choose desktop. but if your work is flexible then choose laptop...

frized17 It depends on the PC you use. If your PC has a good colling system you can leave it all time. To run anti virus fast and successfully run it on safe mode ( if you using windows) and disconnect it to network.

frized17 I see th windows vista. Microsoft make the vista secure they modify the built in firewall in windows xp you can block only the incomming port but in vista you can block the outgoing port. the question is why? because some spyware make connect to internet...

frized17 Try to use Fedora Core 6. I'll assure you will love the desktop effect the made. It's like a liquid and you can see the 3D effects of the desktop. And their are some aplication that they add in Fedora Core 6
