People around here drive to Indiana (not far) and buy illegal fireworks, and drag them back here. We've had booms every night for at least two weeks, often until 2 or 3 in the morning. The last two days have been beyond terrible....

Judy Story @Ineeddentures That was before cell phones. So I called my Dad and he said stay there with them. He called the police and they send someone to pick up the puppies and Mom. I could not just leave them there. They were taken to a no kill shelter.
