They need to make up their minds. Do prefer to be lied to or do you prefer the truth? I'm not saying honesty should be used as an excuse to be rude and insult people, but when the time calls for it we shouldn't hesitate.

jamola I totally agree with you. It makes you reluctant to talk to someone about it. Out of fear they would side with the parents. Thanks to society. It wasn't until 4 years ago when I realized who I really was, because my father was trying to control me.
