joelestrella11 windows 7 is really fast. better than xp. but as microsoft will start phasing out xp, it's really better idea to switch to win7, although some programs will not work in 7. an alternative solution ms provided to solve this is virtualization of xp within win7....

joelestrella11 there are many reasons why a computer runs slow - low memory, an almost filled-up hard drive- to name a few. pc specs is also to be considered. try cleaning first ur pc's registry. there may have been too many irrelevant entries there that are not used...

joelestrella11 hi! im new here. just registered today. saw ur post and i think i can suggest some antivirus programs to do the job. am using currently a program titled 'usb virus scan'. there's also another 'usb firewall'. both are pretty good.
