mariposaman @mariposaman (2959) • Canada 9 Nov 09

We are in the midst of the swine flu pandemic in North America and lots of people are getting sick. Apparently we are in the middle of the second wave of the pandemic here as winter is our traditional flu season, and the swine...

lildlyn My family has been lucky so far. I do not plan on getting the vaccination for myself or my children. I have had many friends and their children get the flu and they were well in just a few days. I think this is being carried overboard and is no worse than the...

I've started to look for Mother's Day gifts this year and feel like I keep resorting to the same old things. What are the best Mother's Day gifts you've given or received?

lildlyn I have the same problem with my 3 year old. I have had to be very strict for a while, but so far this is working. I just didn't give in to what he was wanting. Yes, there was a day or two that he didn't eat at all. But he didn't starve and he is now getting...

How did you do your childbirth? Did you earn your "mommy badge" (A child with no pain medication)? With my son I wanted my mommy badge. They ended up giving me morphine because my labor stalled due to stress. BTW: Morphine, not...

lildlyn I have 3 children. The first was competely drug free. I was in labor for 5 hrs and pushed for 3 hrs. The Dr.'s kept telling me it is too early for drugs, then toward the end they would tell me it is too late. He was 10.3 lbs (note: pre-preg I was only 95 lbs),...

lildlyn Have you noticed that on TV shows and movies, the man sleeps closest to the door? Every show or movie I have seen, the man lays on the side that is closest to the bedroom door. I believe it is a protection instinct, for the man to protect his woman and home,...
