santasan2k6 @santasan2k6 (18) • Jamaica 12 Dec 10

Lore2009 You should do some stretching and a little exercise. Maybe go take a little walk and look at the scenery, smell the fresh air. I've heard that if you focus on something, ex. standing on one leg and holding your balance, it helps you to focus on other...

What are good ways to store my files?

moonlight_dream @moonlight_dream (520) • Romania 19 Jun 09

I have many files (videos, pics, documents etc. ) but I'm not sure what's the best way to save them. They occupy a lot of space so DVDs could be a solution, I have a laptop that theoretically it should accept them but it actually...

twoey68 Your best bet is to go the DVD route. Also if these are files that you use alot you might want to make two copies...one to keep out and one to put in a safe place. I have alot of my files on DVD and they are in one of those Sentry fire safes. I wouldn't store...

Does clapping really burn calories?

moonlight_dream @moonlight_dream (520) • Romania 10 Jun 09

I heard that everytime you clap you burn a calorie. Is it really true? That would be amazing! You could clap 7000 times and lose 2 pounds in a day! :O

rainbow It's a lovely thought but makes me wonder why the machines in the gym seem to take so much effort before a single calorie is counted. Everything we do uses energy, some activities more than others. If loosing weigh were so simple we'd all be deaf from the...

So, I've been wondering about this for a long time, what does that phrase actually mean "having a cake and eating it too" I don't get it..I mean, if I had a cake, of course I would eat it

Colmuc Hi Mathiaes, This is a difficult one. It is a saying describing a good situation. Obviously if you have a cake and eat it you no longer have it. Sometimes people want to be in a situation where they can take advantage of something but will again be able to...
