Early Morning Craving

Okay I awoke this morning with a HUGE craving for something sweet. I love when Perkins Restaraunt has their buy 3 get 3 free muffin/cookie sale going on. This is one of those times of this sale. So I thought that seeing as I had this sweet tooth and there is a Perkins within a couple miles of the house why not. Well I got a 6 pack of Blueberry muffins to satisfy this craving. I ate one for breakfast and will have one later this afternoon as a snack. My wife said to be sure I saved her one. I laughed saying I can't eat them all. But tomorrow night there won't be any left. 
Do you have perkins near you? Do you eat their muffins at all? I prefer their Poppy Seed muffins but those are made on Thursdays only here so I couldn't get them. If you eat them what is your favorite as well? Do you find yourself waking up with a sweet tooth ever?

There are Perkins restaurants around here, but it's been a long time since I've been to one. I never had their muffins though. I like to make my own muffins, and my favorite is blueberry. I don't make them often, as my husband is not too crazy about them, and I end up having to eat them all myself.

Oh you've got to try a muffin from Perkins someday.
They are huge and delicious.

Sorry no Perkins in my area; however, they do look good. I love large sweet muffins. Your making me hungry for a muffin, which means I'll be making some this evening. I love Poppy Seed Muffins and would be in line this week.
I like a sweet when I'm under stress like this week. Taxes are painful to pay. This year we are paying more than we have ever paid. I'm hoping by the end of next week to be again eating the right way.

The ones I mentioned are actually Lemon Poppy Seed. Yummy!
Bummer about taxes. We are getting a small refund from both
State and Federal luckily.

Our town has a Perkins. I do not do muffins very often, but my husband loves the apple cinnamon ones. We will order a breakfast, I get the pancakes and he gets a muffin as a side. We split the pancakes and he gets to take his muffin for a snack. Right now I have a coconut cream pie from Perkins. I won it in a work related meeting.

When I eat breakfast at Perkins I get a muffin of some sort as well and save it for later in the day. I prefer Bakers Squares pies though. Especially their French Silk.

I almost wore my drawstring jammies to get them. But decided to get dressed as it was the rush time for breakfast at perkins.

we don't have a perkins nearby-but we do have a dunkin donuts.they make lemon poppy seed muffins,and oh those are great to have once in awhile.
usually when i have a morning sweet tooth,i go for the boston cream donuts though.

Your the Sexy lady in this one, oh lala. Where did Grandpa Bob go? He disappeared.
I don't have any Perkins in my neck of the woods. The muffins do sound good. When I get a sweet tooth, I get out in the kitchen and rattle some pots and pans and get baking.
As for the avatars, this has been happening to others too, I was thinking it might have something to do with the interest or just another glitch. I haven't payed much attention to it.

We dont have perkins muffins, but there are plenty of muffin brands around here.
My favourite would be one of the savoury ones, with say, cheese, onion & bacon. Although I am find of chocolate chip.
Basicly I love nearly all muffins. Some muffins are fattening, but some very low fat ones are available. Muffins are easy to make too, not that I get much time nowadays for extra baking.
I am thinking of making high protein muffins for my daughter.
I know all about cravings!

Amazingly I still have 2 left this afternoon. Guess the craving was just in the morning maybe? I love all types of baked goods and sweets in general be they fattening or not. BTW, there never was a pic of your dalmation in my fetch discussion.

LOL. I crave something all of the time it seems. It can range from a good solid meal to the desert bowl to ice cream and you name it. I have never heard of Perkins. I love muffins though. My favorite muffins are the blueberry ones. I really don't have a favorite brand though. I work nights but when I sleep during the day, I will wake up sometimes craving some kind of sweets or food.

We don't have a Perkins restaraunt here. Only thing I crave when I first get up in the morning is more sleep so I roll over and bury down deeper in the covers till my daughter or dog come in and pounce on me to get my butt up. My sweet tooth leans toward chooolate bars which I'm finding hard to resist but resist I must cause I can't afford gas and chocolate right now.

Oooh, I love Perkins' muffins! I didn't go often when I lived in MN, but they sure were good.
We don't have any here in Ohio, or at least I haven't seen any in my area.
You've got me wanting one now. Those muffins are HUGE!

Cravings, been a normal thing to me since I am pregnant now! LOL
I would have cravings in the morning and also at night. This morning I had a sweet tooth, too. I was craving for some cheesecakes! The ones that melts in your mouth! LOL!
Well, I've been eating Ice cream for like 3 days now. It has been a constant craving. I would dream of it ast night and have this as an early craving!

I always have the craving to gobble down a big chicken burger as soon as I wake up early in the morning. And then I urge to have something that would tickle my palate and keep me happy all day, like pack of chocolate or maybe some thing sweet like a donut.
I do not have any Perkins restaurant close to us in India but there are many places just close to my place that ,make awesome pastries and sweet. So I just hang out there, buy myself some and treat my tastebuds.

Wow, grandpa bob, buy 3 get 3 free muffins ? I would love to buy that one too... I like muffins but not able to eat it everyday. Since i can't make one, and the place where to sell muffins quite far away from my home. And believe me , grandpa bob..it's hard to find any muffins in my place...:) And i just like muffins !!

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Wow! Blueberry muffins, my favorite! Although we don't have any Perkins here, we do have several bakeshops that offer different types of cakes, pastries, etc..which could really satisfy my sweet tooth. I do love those muffins with choco chips too. Just my thoughts! Take care always and have a nice day! :)
