What kind of clothes are you most comfortable in? And what kind of clothes do you wear to work everyday. Do you have to wear a uniform and if so do you like it?

I'm a student, so my on-campus jobs are pretty relaxed about clothing. When I was a tour guide, they provided me with a shirt and I just had to wear jeans/khakis/skirt/whatever I wanted. I also worked at a call center and I could wear whatever I wanted except when the big boss would come and we'd have to look decent. I am most comfortable in skirts and stretchy pants. Jeans can be really annoying sometimes. As for shirts, I like things that aren't too loose but aren't too tight and I like flat shoes/sandals!

Students can get away with Jeans and shirts anywhere. It is for the older ones who have to be worried everyday about what to wear. My teenage daughter and myself both like shirts and jeans or stretch pants. And the shirts or tops should not be too lose or tight. And yes flat shoes are comfortable with trousers.

I don't particulary care one way or another for uniforms. Really I like to do the shirt and tie thing for a job. It makes me feel professional. However I am most comfortable in dockers and a t-shirt. Or denim. with the occasional shorts when it's hot

Trousers and shirt or t shirt I think are the most comfortable outfits even for females. And shorts at home or on a holiday is fine.

Hi dear mostly i wear dress/formal trouser and shirt. jeans and t shirt. and our local dress, shalwar qameez. My favourite dress is Dockers Style and formal/dress trouser with 2 side pockets and no pleats at front and one Velt pocket at back. We dont have uniform in office so i normally wear above attire as i mentioned, and if its business meeting or some seminar or visiting customer, i may wear Business Suit Take care

Just like the others here...t-shirt and jeans if possible for the whole week. I don't look and feel comfortabe with others so I was kinda stuck to jeans. Bt if I have to dress for certain occasions, I also dress what is appropriate. In my work, jeans and other comfortable clothes are okay as long as it is presentable, work friendly and not showing any unnecessary parts of your body. LOL Take care =)

Jeans is a very comfortable outfit but with rains now in our part of the country wearing jeans is almost impossible because it takes a lot of time to dry. And trousers and jeans really covers us like no other clothes.

We have a uniform in school, but its this divine white nurse-like type that's so hard to maintain. Luckily, am already on my senior year and am allowed to go dress down. On normal days, I sport the common skinny jeans and basic tee and either my trusty highcut chuck taylor sneakers or flipflops. When me and my friends go out, I wear skirt (not too short though) and a fab top (depending on my mood) paired with high heels and am good to go! =)

For young students I think its good to be wearing uniforms. And for you teens yes the jeans and tee is most commonly used. Skirts and also cool. Especially if you have a fab figure!

Casual - I also wear a lot of white and pink clothing, white/black/pink/purple are the most common colours in my closet. I have other colours as well but those are the once I have most ;) I allways try to combine black or white with at least one colour but I had little clothing clean out of the wash that day and I wasn't going out anyway so I figured it didn't matter.
We can wear whatever we like in college, there is no obligated uniform. When I go to my part time job (child daycare) we can't wear short tops (I think that's not suitable in any job except for certain adult jobs or working at a beach club perhaps), short skirts or open shoes due to hygiene reasons. I am most comfortable in a knee lenght skirt of stretchy or cotton material or the same type of material long pants or jeans, preferbly flairy ones. I like tops that hug your body but aren't to tight or are the exact oppisite, extremely baggy.

Thanks a lot for your response. I am not in favour of short tops and I do not encourage my daughter to wear them too. I am most comfortable in shorts at home and trousers when I go out.

For many years I had to wear a uniform to work which was okay for me because I got to wear jeans and comfortable shoes with my uniform top and apron. The last couple years I have changed jobs and have to wear professional clothes. It is nice to be able to wear different things each day but I am not much of a person who dresses up. I struggle with buying things as I am not real "fashion oriented" , just a plain and simple girl. I still look professional but would still rather just be in jeans. My co-workers really dress up and look great. This is just a part-time job for me and I meet the dress code requirements but I am not dressing to get promoted or to impress. I am retired and just working part-time. I know that sounds like I don't care much, I do care but I am just not that fancy of a dresser. The clothes I am most comfortable in is jeans and t-shirts and in the summer - a pair of capris and tank tops.

I love wearing trousers and tops. And if I have to change my job and would be told that I cannot wear trousers I would find that very difficult to adjust to.

I'm most comfortable in my tank top and in my bermudas, and that's what i wear for work everyday.. lol =D BEcause i'm not working in an office and i'm not a sales personnel nor agent, so i can afford to be free and easy.. hehe =D WHen i'm schooling for the 10 years, i was already in school uniform and thus i hate uniform, plus with another 2 yrs in army, i was in uniform again.. SO bno matter what, i will choose everything except for uniform.. lol

I never had to wear a uniform. When I worked in an office environment, I generally wore nice slacks and a dress shirt. On a rare ocassion a skirt. Now I work from home. So I am very comfy. Jeans and t shirts is what I wear for the most part.

I feel most comfortable in my skinny jeans and a vest top. I don't work at the moment as I am a full time student, when I go to college, I just wear what I feel comfortable in, sometimes it is shorts, skirts, jeans, vest tops, jumpers, more dressy tops whatever I feel like in the morning. I would hate to have a job where I have to wear a really strict uniform, I would not mind an office uniform, but like a takeaway place where they have to wear awful garish colours with the companies name embroidered in.

Some uniforms aren't too strict, such as office uniforms as long as you wear black skirt/trousers with a white top then you are fine, and I think you can get a nice variety of clothing for that.

I like just old comfy clothes when hanging around at home. I don't even like wearing a bra, if I don't have to, or at least a sports bra. As far as work, I am a dance teacher, but not as thin as I used to be, so I wear dance pants and a comfy, cotton shirt or tee shirt, when working. What about you?
@mayka123 (16555)

With so much dancing you should be quite thin. I believe dancing is the best exercise and one enjoys it too! I wear shirts or tops and trousers to work everyday. Sometimes it is the traditional sari. And by sometimes I mean 4-5 times a year!!!hahahaha And at home its jeans and t shirt only

I love wearing comfortable clothes, at home I mostly wear loose tops and shorts. When I go out, I like to wear shirts and shorts, or cargo pants. I also like jeans, but I like them to be soft and comfy. I don't have to wear a uniform to work. At the preschool, the dress code is not very strict because we run after kids all the time, but I have to be quite presentable... I wear button down shirts and polos and slacks. But on days when we do art, PE and swimming, I often wear long sleeved shirts and jeans. I also work part time in an English school, that's where I have to be a bit formal and wear sensible shoes with heels.

Our clothes should always depend on the kind of work we do. For teachers formals would be best or else I feel it is a little bit of distraction for the kids. And ofcourse one has to be presentable at ones place of work. I too like loose t shirts and shorts at home.
