....MIA for awhile...Time is whizzing and flying by faster than snot in a heavy wind...heehee. Christmas is zooming up and I haven't gotten around yet to decorating my place Christmas-y and I really need to take time off from here to do this. I do a real heavy duty extensive decorating thing every year and will take a few days/nights to do.....so.... I'll try to get here for maybe a few minutes but I just need that time to do other things. Also, I found another grant possibility for me to try for and am going to focus on that as well. So just to let my friends here know I haven't disappeared and will return as soon as I can... Have you ever had a major project or undertaking that prevented you from being here at MyLot? What was it? See you folks soon...

Hi pye, Well I hope you will enjoy all your decorating for christmas, and yes I did take time out from mylot to decorate my place and I had to do it myself as my hubby is a bit like Scrooge and "bah humbug" sort of chap and all he did was put couple streamers up on the ceiling and complained all the time so I done everything else on my own, it took me all day and at the end of it I was so tired. Bright Blessings. Tamara

I am not being here much lately. Nature of my job is changing for one thing, and I have really major cleaning issues for another. I will be back strong one day, but it will not be for a couple of weeks.

only my operations kept me out of commsion a few days! I got my decorations up in the house in one day which surprized my daughter , but took her hubby a week tio get the out side for if he hasd started when he was surpose too he could have got done sooner and lights might not have got thrown away for the rain poured down adn I had put them for safe keeping in the trash can lol yup and a handy helper decided they were trash and tossed them.

I hear ya. I've got my decorations up, plus working overtime, but I still have to get the stuff for Christmas dinner, both of my kids are coming over, plus the grandkids.

I know what you mean, Pye - I have a pile of things I should be doing, and maybe these holidays are time for that. I hope you take some photos of your decorations - I bet they'll be superb. Enjoy your time out and have a wonderful and joyous holiday!

Hey pye! That is so nice that you want to make things all Christmasy and stuff! I am just not getting into the spirit! In fact my personal issues keep getting worse and keep making me not even want to think about the Holidays! I'm sorry I didn't want to bring you bad karma into this discussion. So, go start your decking and let those sweet little kittys "help out" and do what you need to do and get back here soon! I will check on you and see how you're doing! Maybe after some things get straightened out I too will be more into the Christmas spirit! I am still hoping to get my place just a little decked out and put up my little tree at least! So enjoy yourself! Happy decking! Give Pye and Kissy hugs from Auntie Opal and Star and Luna!

You will be missed GF! Enjoy the decorating, and best of luck with the grant. I've worked on grant applications before, and they sure don't make them easy, do they? So, we'll miss ya and hurry back! Geeze, next ya know you'll be wanting a couple of days off to put the decorations away until next year....lol

Have fun decorating Pye. We'll be here when you're able to return. We decided we're not going to decorate this year because we're just not in the Christmas spirit. As you already know, we've been through pure hell this year and aren't into the holidays at all. So another year our decorations will sit in a box. Last year we decorated but there's been years when we moved that we didn't get to but this year is because of depression. A first for us.

I'm about to be the same. I haven't done any decorating, wrapping, nothing! I have about 30+ people coming for Christmas Eve dinner and all kinds of meetings in between. You see I chair the education board at our church. We have to be prepared for tuition rates for 09/10 school year by the third week in January. Ugghh what a job. Hope you get things done quick, I'm sure you'll be missed. Have fun decorating
