I have found a use for hot flashes...

If only I could bottle and sell it. I've got this stuck shoulder, see, and I have to do a lot of stretching exercises, and sometimes my muscles are tight and my arm just doesn't want to go there. And then suddenly I'm all hot and sweaty and my muscles are looser. Hooray hot flashes!

Great, dawnald you are seeing the positive side of it all.. I have no more hot flashes, eating broccoli and other "cruciferous" veggies every day in a capsule and in food, and some great cold pressed oils keep my muscles looser.. Good bye hot flashes.. I´m still 65 years young!!

Ha ha.. I guess you are right, but the food supplements I eat seem to slow down the aging process.. Let´s see if they turn it around.. Anyway, I hope hot flashes disappear in time and you find another solution for the muscles. We should eat like the Japanese women, they have no or very little problems with menopause. They have a different diet than most of us.

Sometimes hot flashes are associated with Thyroid issues. I did have them when I was much younger. Then the whole business got taken care of surgically about five years later. Walking and taking Cod Liver oil seemed to help them when I was having them. I take Black Cohosh now.

Well, you can sort of bottle it on a personal level. Just remember where you have to go to get there and that should help. I used to hate those hot flashes. Made me feel so uncomfortable. Glad to hear someone has found a use for them. haha

LOL! I wish I had found a use for mine! I ended up eliminating them with what my family calls my ‘happy pills’! Aren’t they the strangest sensation? It feels like you are spontaneously combusting from the inside! To think I used to scoff at my mother complaining about thinking, “How bad can a hot flush be?”

I was under Hormone Replacement Therapy for 4 years after i had undergone Total abdominal Hysterectomy. That is because of the hysterectomy i had a forced menopause in my younger years. But after 4 years i withdrew from it, because i have read that it causes cancer. So when i withdrew, i was always experiencing hot flashes, specially in the middle of the night. It went on for almost a year, but after that, it was gone. Perhaps, exercising a lot also helped me plus eating soya foods which they say is good.

My mom had a hysterectomy fairly young, and was on hormone replacement for years. I don't remember her ever mentioning hot flashes.

HRT helps in preventing hot flashes. But if you stop taking them, hot flashes occurs. But like i said after a year it was gone. Hot flashes will really make you sweat and hot around your neck most specially.

This is the first time I've seen the blessings of hot flashes being trumpeted but I suppose whatever works can be blessed. I didn't go through a severe hot flash phase. Had a few but of course don't remember them now.

Do all the stretching exercises on a daily basis for the rest of your life. They tone up the body and mind as well. You may not be able to bottle Hot flashes and make money, You can certainly teach and earn.

Hot flashes loosen muscles? I don't remember that ever happening. I remember kicking off a lot of blankets, only to pull them back on a minute later, only to be kicked off again... I guess I was getting leg exercises and didn't even know it!

My wife started having them soo after her uterus was removed, she used to bleed buckets. We tried so many medicices, hormones, but none helped, may be it was due to some kind of forced menopause. About 5 years ago i suffered from too much sweating, hot sensation in forehead, some said i was undergoing male-menopause, ha ha It is actually due to my diabetic. Thanks for sharing Cheers. God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. .

If we take a little bit of rest and giving gaps in b/w hours of spending on computer will gives good health. Good to hear that in this young age also you are going for exercises, hahaha, you are inspiring me.
