I made up my own words to songs when each child was a baby, They stopped me singing when each of them reached 6 years old. The GD still asks me to sing her special song to her sometimes and she is ten years old. so there is hope for me yet. Here goes: Dear Little Joelle-Ann she's her Mom's Precious lamb. She's her Daddy's precious love And she came all the way from heaven above. She's her Mummy's little sweetheart Her Daddy's precious lamb. She's Cynthie's darling granddaughter and her name is Joelle-Ann. Would never win a song contest, but there you go. Cynthie's having a silly day on Mylot. I actually made up a song for our Prime MInister but not a newspaper will publish it.

That is nice that you have that riding experience in the morning. Sounds like a cute song. I like a positive one now and then my self. Seems like so many are sad or just trivial silliness and nothing really striking that stays with you. My granddaughter likes some that I find positve but most are not.

I put my own lyrics with songs too....hehe..sometimes I get away with it because they never know what I will say next

Wow!! your kids never used to let you sing, or listen to what you want to. I am not familiar with this song, which is nice, because I can really appreciate your lyrics, and I can have my own really neat visuals going with it as well. I guess that was a good thing in your morning.

what a fun sweet family you have. it always makes me think of the closeness and love my kids shared with me while they were growing up. i so miss it all. your family seems quite strong. and its obviously due to a good strong, loving mother.
