Hi, to everyone here at myLot. This laptop stopped working. I accidentally spilled cold water om the keyboard. So, now it is almost two weeks later and the laptop has powered back up again. Not unless, my spontaneous hubbie did not secretly fixed it or had it fixed somehow.
I have missed you guys and I hope that I can be at myLot as much as I can. There are going to be a few changes that will be taking place in my life pretty soon and I hope that I will be able to communicate with you all as much as possible too. Yesterday, my oldest daughter graduated from Head Start School.
Today is her last day. So, I have my son is at school now and he won't be getting out until June. I am, writing on a new keyboard because two of the keys on the laptop stopped working. So, my hubbie went to Walmart to buy a replaceable Logitech keyboard. So, tell me how has life been treating you all? I hope that everyone is doing fine. I await to hear from you all. I am glad to be back. Since, I have been away, I have been gone from my home doing this and doing that. I have also became fixated on watching the Criminal Minds show and many Lifetime Movie Network movies. These shows and movies have kept me from being so bored. I have enjoyed watching many things on the television lately. Well, I hoped that you all have had an wonderful and a beautiful Mothers' Day as well.

Last few months back, that was in January 2011 my system motherboard had failed. That was gone for serving center. In that time, i was fully feel sadly and spending time in sleeping only.
I have no contact with my online friends and i feel like lonely.
So it is so boring without computer working.

I had a great Mother's Day. I was able to spend it with my son, but not my daughters. Which is really quite fun because last year, all three of my girls were with me and not my son.
We're trying to get adjusted to the new state, the new house and the new job. I love living in Arizona. My husband's new job is going well. My daughter is now pregnant but my son and daughter in law are in the process of getting a divorce. it's kind of sad.

Had a very nice Mother's Day and hope you did as well. Sorry to hear about your computer. My grandson poured milk on mine once years back and lucky I had a warranty on it. I had been having a problem last week with my PC. It would turn on but would go to the desktop. So I called tech support and the tech did a restore. Worked again. Then the next night at almost exactly the same time it happened again. THis time I had to pay for software support. They did a complete scan of my PC and found 28 mallware viruses on it. I am not pleased because the anti-virus I have is expensive and is supposed to have it under total control. Now I am going to go with free anti-virus.

Life has been not so good on me lately. I can't find a job and dad can't support me for the first month of my working allowance. Its pretty sad I have to stay at home and save money before I use them as daily expenses for transportations and lunch.

That's a lot of missed things when computer doesn't work.
If ever my laptop won't work,i can still use my kids pc's but i am sure not as long as i want or else someone around will keep bugging me to get up so he use his pc too (hehehe)

Life has been really Good with ups and downs of course with these two things life cannot work. Its good to know that you are back on mylot and your hubby has got the laptop repaired for you. Hope you are enjoying on this Mylot. Well all the best to your kids for their educations. Hope we have a great weakened around.

Welcome back cream
Since you are talking of laptop, it is always good to use a transparent sheet over the key board, i bought a set for my Toshiba laptop, one fits the key board and the other the screen, i am told the upper one filter outs the harmful rays.
My uses this lap top most of the time, she is gond of working with a cup of tea in hand, hence this precaution lol..

Oh gosh yes the water on the keyboard can stop the laptop from functioning, luckily it did not ruin the motherboard. What a relief.
Wow yes I noticed you were away and thought maybe with the school issues you were busy that way. But glad it was only the keyboard/laptop issue and you are back also that all is well.
Congrats on your daughters graduation. 
Good thing you had some TV time to keep you occupied and busy.
As for me not a whole lot happening but my Mothers Day was nice and I had fun as I was taken to Dinner by my boyfriend to celebrate.

when computers stop working that's actually time to catch on TV shows and real life, neighborhood gossips, latest headlines. make new friends in real life lolz. In my area some kind of scam is going on with people stealing optic fiber that connects serves of the town to big city , hence for three to four days we get no connection. So that's the time I find to get on with my real life but frankly its a bit boring without the com and my online friends.

There was a time when I would be on mylot everyday. After changing my job a year back things have changed. I hardly get to log on to this site very often. I do regularly check the notifications in my inbox and delete the ones that I do not want to respond to. The rest are saved and hopefully I will be able to respond to them very soon. This will go on till I finally buy myself a laptop to use at home.

hi cream isn't it the pits when your laptop or desktop computer is on the fritz? Or something else keeps you from using your computer?I missed seeing you on here. You can imagine how I felt when I was shut out of my own room as my roomie had the shingles and was contagious. I missed my'computer and mylot and you and all my other mylot friends so much. Like
you I watched a lot of programs on television and specially CSI as I became engrossed in watching that. I have always been fascinated with the art of forensic medicine used in crime solving. I once dumped water on my keyboard too and finally ended up with my son getting me a different keyboard.I also like the Lifetime Movie channel lol.

Hi Cream, congratulations for you that you going to reach your 20,000th post. I think you enjoying with mylot nicely, last week only i also finished my college and now in home only. As i am in home the whole day, most of the time i spend in my computer and also with internet. Two days back did not work and got hanged, yesterday evening only the service man came and serviced it. That 2 days was horrible without computer, i was not able to use internet, did not see any film or not played games. I think it is very difficult to be without computer. Hope you enjoying back with your new keyboard and being happy.
