I am trying to relax

I am geared up and happy about getting a job. Now, my mind is going a mile a minute, I know as soon as I start working, I'll be fine. However, now I'm thinking "Do I relax, or not?.... Should I work even harder on mylot? There are things I need... and it'd help to have the money. When will my first paycheck be?" Somethings I can't even answer yet. How do you relax? I'm trying to figure out how to get myself to relax.

on my opinion if doing mylot stressing you out then maybe you need to lie-low a little bit and relax.but if its not really stressing you and you enjoy mylotting, why not just continue so you could earn a little for your needs just until you don't have a new job yet.

I will either be a cashier, or a bagger at a local grocery store chain. I am pretty sure it will be cashier. I miss ringing people up, kind of odd, but at the same time I'd rather do the bagging. In any case, I've not started yet but will soon.

Well it doesn't stress me out that much at all. It's just about finding good discussions to respond to is all. I do need to try to get to the next dollar so that I can pay for some checks! I can't wait until i start my job.

What is your job anyway Ma'am?.. In your tone of writing, I can say that you really love your job, am I not right?. However, thinking of posting lots of posts here at mylot, for me its quite a stress but, the payouts make it disappear ^_^.

I bet your mind is going fast. Just need to keep busy and the time will go by, you'll start your job and then you'll really wish the time would go by. I think I relax on here. If I have a rant I wait for someone to respond and then I answer it and before long I am relaxed.

Yes, It's odd how that will work out. I'll start working and then wish time would go by whilst at work. However, at the same time, it will be part time, that could mean I work 8 hours a day four days a week, or it could mean I work 4 hours a day six days a week, we'll have to see. I'm sort of hoping they give me bagger, I'd be able to walk around, talk to people, help them to their car... though it's normally a man's job.

Then I go back and "mine" a favorite discussion area, like cats or crafts...

I do relax a lot here, well usually, but sometimes I can't find anything to respond to.

Congratulations on getting that job. Earlier this week I got called in for an interview and I was so excited because I was applying to so many places and I wasn't getting called back from anywhere. I was so incredibly happy to just be called back. I got called in to two interviews for the same place. Currently I don't know if I'm going to get the job though. I'm kind of doubtful for some reason, but I know the feeling you described. It's nice to be financially independent and not have to worry about what'll happen when all of your money runs out. I was so giddy I didn't know what to do lol. To relax I usually watch movies on Netflix, play games on Facebook or on my iPod Touch, watch TV, lay down or walk around my neighborhood. Oh, or I take a shower lol. That relaxes me sometimes too. Congrats again on getting that job!

I know the feeling of just getting an interview that you are talking about as well. I loved the feeling of getting the interview. The one I had for this place, i walked too, I literally walked all the way there, probably 8 miles. I hope you get called for an interview soon, don't give up hope! You'll get one, it took me more then a year to finally get this one, but I'm ecstatic. I like to play video games myself, but running out of options to play.

I tried sleeping, I think what I really need is just to hang out with friends. Im going to see if I can't do that tomorrow. Until then, I guess I'll just watch a bit of t.v., eat and call it an early night (if I can get any sleep!) Thanks for the suggestion and congrats!

sleep is the important thing for our health don,t spend your night in other useful or un-usful works make a time table of your daily work and try to sleep mostly eight hours.

In most cases, I do relax myself through sleeping ^_^. Yup, I sleep all day just to relax myself. That's what I do when I am alone. But I prefer playing DOTA anyway ^_^. Let's try to forget some things for a while. Good day!!..

Sleeping does help me, but sometimes I just can't sleep. I LOVE sleeping though.

Oh, I do not know how to relax. I guess it depends on how long it is until you start. I would also plan on up to three weeks before your first pay check, then if you get it sooner, you would be happily surprised. I would probably be going out for bike rides every day to get in shape and that would help me be tired enough to rest.

Well I'll get a call on Monday, I suspect it'd be like next Friday or Next Monday after that. I'm not sure. Going on a bike ride is a great idea, it'd relax me.

I find alot of relaxation just by going and laying down in the bed and watching something good on tv and then falling asleep. I work alot so my mind goes a mile a minute also. I spend alot of time online working.

I think that the best way to relax is to do something that you enjoy doing, something that won't require too much energy, and try to get all of these questions out of your mind. It might not be the easiest thing to do, but it's something that you can try doing, and see if it works.

I've calmed down now and am more relaxed. Ideally I'd like to hang out with friends before I start working, but that may not happen. I'm just working out things in my mind now.

I find a lot of things relaxing. Listening to Breaking Benjamin's tracks always relaxes me. I've also found myLotting most of the time relaxing, as well as just sitting down and watching TV. Most of the time, though, whenever I wanna relax I just lie down and look at the ceiling. Sounds odd but it empties my mind if I just focus on a spec on the ceiling.

I could definitely understand you being anxious. As I often do, when I get to a new job. There are also a million questions that goes to my head. And we also know that it also gets relaxing when we are actually already working and not thinking about the 'unknowns' anymore. I'm sure you'll do OK.

Since you do not know how long it will be until your paycheck maybe it would be a good idea to make money on here. The extra money will come in handy. I am glad that you found a job. In this hard economy any job is better than no job at all. I wish you the best of luck.

That is good advice. Increase online earnings so that you have a cushion until that first check comes in.

Relaxing is not only physical but more a mental state. When you do what you love to do, you, without any extrinsic pressures, you indeed relax mentally, and that is very important. Conversely, a notable point for you on joining the new job, is loving what you do. This improves your performance and the job becomes less taxing. All the best to you.

The best way to relax for me is some finding that will really attract you to it like watching movies , animes for me , and something like you will forget about it and you will be happy and relaxed that's my suggestion
