Santa... This Year Please Gift Me Some News From My Friends

Hi Friends and Lotters 
Today I decided to do the MyLot Family of Mine. Those who arent aware, it is a portrait of the avatars of all my friends that I had the last year.
Unfortunately, during this, I realized many of my friends have left the world of MyLot and I DO NOT know anything beyond this. To name a few who Went Offline - TT(Tingtong), Life, Binthu and there are also some who left MyLot though their profiles are still out there, which does raise my hopes that they would return. To name some - Frajil - One of my dear friends with whom I shared only 3 Months, gsaintiny - I still love reading the responses he did on a few of my discussions, toniganzon - I know she is somewhere reading this one as she did pop up on a quite recent discussion after so many days, And hey, HWG - one of the most loved friends of ours... I am really worried and pray that all of these are safe and healthy, doing some thing great in their offline world which has kept them occupied...
I wished all of them returned to MyLot at least for once to let us know that they are fine or if anything is disturbing them in their real world. I also know that I will not be able to help them any better but still my heart yearns for their return.
What about you? Are you concerned or worried about the great friends you have here? They say, Christmas is a Celebration time with Friends and Family... and I miss them more today and wished some Santa got me news about these Friends of Mine.

I too miss HWG and Diana.
These were two persons who supported me and helped me a lot otherwise it would have been tough for me to continue here.
Yes these are some great people who have made this forum interesting.I too miss them.I know Diana is active here but not to the extent she used to be before.Hope they will come back and we all enjoy MYLOT much more.

I do miss some of my MyLot family. I wish to hear a little from them too so I would know they are ok. It is amazing the connection that we have made by our time here. So many people from so many places that we would have never met or learned from if it weren't for this site.
I do hope that our friends are safe and well. I hope for their success in what ever they are doing. Very nice discussion! Merry Christmas!

When I look back, I know and admit that I wouldnt have been here if it wasnt the warmth the great Lotters showed me and the honest thing is that this warmth was not just a one time thing... Everytime, I was upset, I was sad and needed a shoulder these great (and many other Great lotters too) did show up and consoled me. They HAVE become a FAMILY to me and I feel no celebration without them around.

Of course dear. The discussions are one major fact that have brought all of us so close like a family. The personal discussions or any other kind, we all get closer to each other with each responded discussion. And this issue of gone missing is just a result of this closeness. the kind of friendship we are sharing here is something which is not east to describe when it comes to write them on a piece of paper. we are helping each other by commenting on their discussion without any hesitationa, we all have a motive that we get help if we help someone, and see how is the chain is growing with the every and every comment. stay connected.

HI Sids... Thanks for this wonderful post... It reminds me of Quita... It was an old lady from Oklahoma.. She used to care for me like Mother to her child... I am not sure where she is these days... I have communicated with her for more than 2 months or maybe more.. She had had a surgery those days... And after that she stopped writing here.. and trust me, I would give anything to know that that sweet lady is fine and happy... Does anyone know her???? Any news about her???

This year Christmas and Hanukkah are together! I love when that happens . I was worried about a friend so I emailed him. He is fine! He just wasn't online. I know how sad it is when friends disappear.I am waiting to hear from another dear friend.In a few weeks it will be a year since I heard from him.

Bhai please don't feel bad. We are only on the 5th day of Hanukkah, you can Still send your cards. Hanukkah jumps around , it is different each year because of the Jewish calendar. I know any Jewish friend would love any card you send. It is the thought that counts.

It is quite great to know that you could find out some information about our friend. I know you are much like me when it comes to relations - we both take a longer time to find the right friends and again stay prone to recovering from the losses

HWG has been quite a darling friend for many. She and MySD have taken a lot of pains to get the site what it is today... I mean, these two are the pillars of Mylot and act as the right kind of friend philosopher and guide for any newbie without considering their own reputation etc. She is surely missed the most.

I did PM to HWG around a month ago asking where she is? She said she is busy in offline works so she is not finding time to be here on MYLOT may be she will return again here once she gets free from work.
I too miss her for her suggestions and advices she used to give on the discussions.

I am not much familiar yet with the names of the other you put since I am new, but HWG is very familiar to me. Since I joined here I have been seeing her a lot and I guess she even commented on a discussion I made before when I am still very new here.
I wished that all of them are all safe and healthy and doing well on their offline works. Hope to see them back again here and so I can as well interact with them. Nice to know that in here everyone can really develop a good friendship.

You might be new here but in the short span you already met many of the Great Lotters and as days pass I am sure some (if not all) will become more closer and dearer. And then all these issues might crop up...:(
Like you, I too pray all those who are now absent are just occupied with holidays and festivities and nothing odd or bitter.

Yup sids, I am happy that I have met a lot of great lotters here, the vets and the new ones are all great. The friendly group, I am sure you know who are the friendly people here - that includes you of course. I am just sad that some people who are new, particularly those who joined the same month as I am and I am interacting via discussions before are not as active as before. Oh yeah most people now are so busy so just put aside those worries. They will pop one day

Your concern about your friends is appreciable.
I may add here that tingtong left this site for good due to some issues with mylotters.
'life' also deleted her account on her own.
Binthu's wherabouts are not known to me.
I also noticed that HWG is also missing.
May be she would be busy somewhere else.
Since I joined this site I have observed many dear friends disappearing from the forum.
Initially, I used to feel disheartened but gradually I made myself realised that it is their own sweet will and their other commitments which prevents them from coming here.
We simply can not do anything about it. :-(
We wish them very best in their life.

I know two of my friends who have been a little bit busy with their off line lives. they are also pre-occupied with some thing also. remember, this is the holidays and they are busy when ever they go to. we only hope they would come back next year and then share their story

Of Course, I know that TT and Life both ended their careers due to some misunderstandings created here at MyLot. They had their last discussions wherein they made their decision clear and loud. Unfortunately, they didnt return to check out their responses on their last - if they would have, they would have realized that almost all of us here never wanted them to leave.
HWG is currently the greatest shock. I mean I never even can think of anything ugly happening for our dear friend who has always been so positive and open in her outlook. Her being away is surprising. What is painful is that almost NONE is aware of her whereabouts and her wellbeing. I have been in personal touch with many at MyLot about her disappearance and still I havent got anything useful.
How much I wish I had her cell or telephone number. I would have called up to confirm despite many and all issues at my end.
But yes, We at this stage cannot DO Anything. MyLot should come up with something useful for such situations.

Maybe...just maybe, dear the sids, these people do not realize how the paint of their being, has colored the canvas of our lives! Are we, you and I, substantially sensitive...each new friend I garner here, is part of the bouquet of my life...and the richness of their existence is sooooo missed...I almost feel incomplete! I so miss Fjaril...just this time, last Christmas, we were laughing about "Rollmops" (pickled herring) and our shared Scandinavian traditions...then GONE, Poof, and a big hole in my heart (which I wear on my sleeve!) When I look at my friend list I see many members who aren't active anymore. I can't help wondering what happened to them why they decided to leave. I don't delete them from my friend list because sometimes one of them comes back after a long time, and I always get happy when I suddenly find a discussion or a response from someone who has been absent for a long time. It is a great feeling to hear from them again, sometimes they have been very busy with offline activities and sometimes there are other reasons why they have been away, but it always makes me very happy to hear from an old friend again

Hello TheSids, Last I've read here that HWG is looking for a new job but i hope she had found one this Xmas season. as for the rest of other people, I think we have to understand that it's rare for them to meet with different people in their family this xmas season. it's only once in a year with this reunion while they spent most of their time with us here. We only hope that they are having a great time this holidays

Took me a year to overcome the fact to refer you as LK and not LetranKnight but that is just because we have been a little more closer than we were the last year when you had that Blue Avatar
If that is the case, I am really happy for her as her last discussion was about grief and loss of a family member and also it had a mention of severe Migraine Pains and Headaches. But as you mention, I should be positive in my thoughts and keep the hope that she and others are enjoying the festive season.

We all carry a loving and caring heart in us and this is the one which does make all the emotional bonds and brings closeness with all our friends be it on the virtual world or the real world. And I always have said, MyLot is a family and here is one example why I think and believe in this - We all care about our friends just like in the real world.

Sorry for those who left the world but we need to accept that mylot friends who are inactive/ left are busy somewhere doing something very great in their life. We do have an offline commitments and so let's hope for the best. Out of all the names you mentioned i had interaction with 'life' only and i do remember reading HWG's posts as well.
I too join in your prayers to Santa to make the wishes of my friends come true, never know at the end of the day, you may get info. about all your friends in your list.You too have a merry X Mas dear.

Don't worry, i think they are enjoying festival with their families. And since it is the most important time of one year, i think they got lots of things to prepare, therefore need time to go shopping, clean house, visit friends in real life.
I also worry a lot when i can't see my friends in mylot for many days, for instance, i have not seen hardworkinggurl for a long time, well, i think it is not because the festival, because about two month i have not seen her, though we are not so close, but i do miss her a little. Wish everything is ok with her, and wish to see her as soon as possible here in mylot.

If I have those friend like yours I am worried too because good friend is important with me. Unfortunately I have no friends here that really close as close they are in you...
I always message anyone here that adding me and make sure to have contact with them and thanks for their interest adding me as their friends. But no one really response back so I am not care anymore...

"here that really close as close they are in you..." Well, I know I am not that important to any but these are important to me. I have my reasons as I always look upon them as a real friend, philosopher and guide. gsaintiny for one (as he has responded back) - we have met on just a few discussions during my 2 year of MyLot Life and in that he has touched me right where I needed anyone. I feel more close to him and look upon him as a Philosopher who would be around for me.
It is sad that your PMs did go unanswered. With dure respect, maybe you are not among the right friends... but with people who are mere lotters.

Oh sids, i can relate to you. Actually, i haven't seen you around for the past months so i am wondering what happened to you too. But seeing your new discussions makes me happy that i have seen one of those mylotters i always like to see here responding.
Yes, i do miss toniganzon, because she had been silent for the past months. But i have seen a response from her just today so i know now why she was away.
I miss some of those mylotters that i have been responding to before also, although i can't remember their username, but once i see their username, i will remember them.
So, if ever i will not be active here anymore, will somebody miss me too?

This is really the time for memories. It is a time for the celebration of the birth of our Saviour. This is also the time when hearts are warmed up, for friends and loved ones. It is extremely exciting for everyone to get along with each other. If not physically, there is the existence of the computers for us to talk to each other.
