I know some people prayed for my family and Im so grateful for it! Our lawyer finally got my husband Workmans Comp and we will get our first check in two weeks. I got accepted to college and financial aid was approved! And my parents are keeping internet and cable because the company lowered the bill for them!! Thank you for all of the prayers. Do you pray for other people too?

That is awesome news. I am happy for you and your husband. Now things look like that are going your way. Maybe one day I will gat my chance at having things go my way for once. But thats not in the cards for me, or at least thats how I feel. Good luck.

Thank you! I am happy too and I will be SOOOO happy when we get our own place! It is super hard living here. I hope things will go your way and I will pray for you too. You know, my husband and I have always been crapped on too. We have been homeless and poor the entire 8 years we have been together. It has NEVER been easy for us, not one second. Things are starting to look better and the only thing that has changed in our life is that I have a more positive outlook lately, well trying anyway. Lol. Try to keep the faith and stay positive because good things WILL come out of it!

I want to thank you very much for this response. I really appreciate it. I know it's not easy and I know I need to be positive. But I have my ups and downs. And it is starting to grate on me. But this coming weekend I will have my kids here with me so I will be happy. I believe that things for you and your husband will get better. I also believe that 2012 is the year. I am practically banking on the fact that this year will be my year as well.

All the good things that have happened to you are down to the hard work of the individuals involved (prayers not included) So no, I don't pray but I do wish people well, and if that helps in any way, all the better. Plus my knees aren't what they used to be these days.

I am glad to hear that things are working out for you and your family. That is great news about the lawyer and the Workman's Comp. Also about the financial add and acceptance to college. Glad to hear also that you will be able to still use the internet and cable. Prayers definitely do help.

I do believe in prayers. When everything else fails, and everything seem hopeless I do find myself in prayer. There's a few people here on myLot whom I've come to know who are going through some tough times. You're certainly one of the LMB! I know they(you) could be strangers, but it doesn't stop me from sending prayers their(your) way.

I believe in prayers too. They absolutely do work!! Thank you so much for your prayers, I really need them. My next prayer is that soon we will be in our own place. I would be SO grateful for that. We just need our own space and my children need to learn they need to listen to us more than anyone else since we are their parents... It is so hard living here bounce... =(

I am glad to know that everything went fine with your problems.. Yes, I do pray for others in both good and difficult conditions. Sometimes it works sometimes its not. If I get the different result from what I expected then I assumed it as a test and get through it. (^^)

I am so glad that all those things worked out for you! I hope that your husband is doing ok now and your schooling is going well for you too. I think about people and their problems a lot, but whether you would call it prayer or not depends on who you ask. I guess based on my Catholic upbringing it might fall in that category, but the word "pray" and "prayer" bring to mind the religious zealots trying to force their beliefs on others.

Me too. Prayers are a powerful thing and I firmly believe prayers got us where we are now. =) He is doing better, not perfect but he will never be perfect with that hand. Well I don't think prayer has anything to do with anyone else except God and yourself. =)

Prayers do get answered if done sincerely and with a pure mind and selflessly.I also have had this experience before.Yes, i do pray for the people who take care of me and their families and for my brother`s family and of course to every living creature on earth whether human, animal, fish, bird,or insect. I pray for a peaceful world filled with love, compassion, kindness, gentleness and brotherhood amongst all.

They absolutely do. =) I pray for all people in general sometimes too. For the hungry people, the homeless people, people with cancer and so on... I pray more for others than I do myself because I think that is what God wants us to do. =)

Wow great to know that your everything is doing well with you and your family. Indeed prayers works especially when there's many people who will pray for it. Yes I do pray for others as well. I think it is actually a good thing to pray for others too and not always about us and our family right? There were a lot of people that we encounter that needs help from Him.

it is good to pray, even the bible says "pray without ceasing", it's reward-full to pray for other, i do pray for my neighbor, friend, fathers in the lord, pastors, well wisher and even enemies for the remission of their soul. prayer is the master key to every thing on earth, it serve as rout for man to GOD.
