Friends from the Past!

Oh my, with the demise of the original myLot, I lost a TRUE world of friends....some SO, SO attached too, I worried if they did not post for days....some we got into heated banters...some we kicked each others butts....some philosophical...some just lit your day...WHAT a special gathering of world-wide friends I had....and just to know we might connect again, gave me a leap of joy....true tears...I do remember you all, and how you made my day......I do need to point out, that it was my dear Sids..."now the busysids" that brought me home. But, I truly do hope, I will meet you all again in a HUGE party here, again!

I am just revelling in the fact that I am once again re-united with my Universal family.........I have so missed each and everyone of you, SO YOU ARE RIGHT...let us party WORLDWIDE.....you are such an inspiration....!!!

Wow, dear Sparks......so nice to re-meet an old friend, a collection of solace was what the old myLot seemed to me. I could get up in the morning, and know I had a friend to share coffee with........I was so unhappy when this site demised.....so pleased we are now back in touch!

Sparks.......I am this time around, make a much better effort to be here....just as I re-united last time, computer went down, things just got out of hand....but I will make a BIG effort this time. Sure missed you ALL!

@pergammano It's a much cleaner, nicer site this time around. I have missed it. It IS nice to get up in the morning and see old friends who actually WANT to talk to you! lol

@allknowing HOW COULD I forget you, all-knowing, I do not think there was a topic on this planet that we did not discuss....my favourite being our discussions over plants and flowers...and our insane love of them. Missed you, too....and promise to be a lot more active!

@topffer Well, you tend to respond better and quicker when I ring your bell here than when I do it through e-mail or on Skype.

I am also anxious to see some here that i saw in the past. I think though that since mylot has onlyh been back for a short time, that it will take time for them to get back in the swing of things and enjoy their time here. I always enjoyed myself in here so much, and I missed that for the two years I was gone. I am so happy to be back and I am so glad that we will be paid again. I have always liked mylot, and now we all have a reason to like it again.Take care and have fun mylotting.

@rosekiss In fact, when many left MyLot, they must have become used to living without it. 2 years is a long time. Now when mylot has sprung back am sure, they will all return - and that may need to make some adjustments and alterations for sure.

Ambie......not a chance of forgetting you....I remember all about you and your family, your superb father and ailing Mother....and that we both so much enjoy curling....can tell you a whole lot more.....but you are NOT and will NOT be forgotten ever!!!!

So glad you are here, we had so much fun, and yes, I am not great at FB! Sorry for your rough summer in So. Cal., but things are not much better here in the Gulf Islands....we have been on extreme Fire since June 10....unusual, and scary living on an Island...the last time we had a fire the Ferries refused to come...BUT AM SO HAPPY to re-connect again......how are the children????

@pergammano Sometimes there is drama on FB, so I try to stay away from it. I just poke my head in and try not to let anyone know I've been there - ha ha! Yes, I heard about the massives fires - oh gosh, how are you all doing out there? We are doing well - seemed like a short summer vacation as the kids start school next week. I personally would like another month off for them! I look forward to catching up with you!

You...dearheart, must know you made my day......I so missed this banter, amongst the world wide community....I have now, again, a reason to get up early and share my day with all my friends.....AND FAMILY!!!!!!!! So missed you, each and everyone.....you hold a special place in my heart, my life, each and everyone of you have taught me soooooooooooooooo much! Heartfelt thank you!

It's funny seeing all the oldies back here on MYLot. I did have a few on facebook, and kept in contact with them through that. But I completely agree I remember logging on, and not hearing from them for a few days and thinking the worst.

Hello there @Pergammano We had meet ups here in the past, but after that I didnt have the guts to continue seeing them again after the last meet up w/ different people. I guess if i did have an abudance of money, it would have been once a month. But enough of that, what's important here is that we get to chat again no how bad the day is. Have a nice day.

I am so glad to see you here, I just SO missed the interaction, the fact that I was travelling all over the world, whilst just drinking my morning coffee. The money did help, but really not important, it offset my internet costs, as they are much higher living on an Island......but it was/is the expansion of my horizon that excites me. I am having problems navigating the new site, as I am computer challenged...hopefully will get there soon.

Well, from the comments I've been reading, a lot of old members have left the site and are not aware of the site up and running. I got to know about this site on a blog site, and I joined yesterday. Its been fun. I will be spending more time on here.

Carmela....I am so sorry, I have not been active, at all. To be honest with you, I was fearful of coming back....fearful that so many of my dear friends would not be here, and you know how life is, you do not want it to change...but on the other hand, you want it to change. I promise to get back in the groove, and make it my morning coffee klatch. My problem is that I get up at 3:30 a.m., so am a day late on activities here....Especially happy to know you are still here....how is the family

@pergammano Family is great. My son is a freshman this year and I have decided to home school him. It works out really well, since now that my husband is retired and my son's school work is mostly online, we can do things we wouldn't be able to do if he still went to public school.
SO you get up at 3 am? Yikes, I don't envy you. As I mentioned in my message to you, I am also not here often, but it is good to see old friends and make new ones. The only drawback is knowing some friends who have passed on and I will never get to chat with them again in this lifetime.
