Taking Care of our Gadgets

In this modern times people have their own gadgets . It could be their tablets , Ipads , Ipod , netbook , powerbank , laptop and computer . For myself , i have a casing for my smartphone so when it falls down it won't be shattered or scratched . For my netbook , i have this e-cooler , where i put it on so it won't heat up much as i have attached a picture of it here . I suppose you have your ways of taking care of your gadgets .

@SIMPLYD I need a new one as well. On the plus side they do what they are supposed to. That, and they don't cost too much to replace.

Oh yes, i also have a screen protector . It reminds me that i should buy a new screen protector because it's already filled with scratches .

I bathe my computer in water once every year (agreed, I leave aside the Hard Disk and the DVD ROM). And then leave it in the sun to dry off for about 4-5 hours.

@thesids bath? that is something unusual I only wipe my computer with damp cloth to get rid the dust how about the performance after you bathe it Siddhu?

@SIMPLYD Yes. Once a year. Mostly a day before we celebrate Vishwakarma Pooja here in India. This is a holy day when we pray to Lord Vishwakarma who is believed to be the Engineer God who Engineered the Universe.

@SIMPLYD It is the most important point we have to remember, taking care of our gadgets before they are spoiled. But most of the time we neglect to care at the right moment and start scratching our head when the damage is already done. I clearly say that you are a good caretaker. Keep it up .

You know i am like that with all that i have . In fact even our electric fans i always clean them . I also has a small notation when it was bought . It makes me so proud of myself when i see that it has been with me for many years .

@SIMPLYD I am also like you. But when brother take the gadget to use by the end of the day it will have a scratch, poor guy tries very hard to keep it fine still he fails in this aspect right from childhood. I don't know how to express this, should I scold him for damaging the piece or should I feel bad about this luck.

A cooler for my laptop, a mobile cases, and tablet cases with scratch guards of course. I have nice little color coordinated linen bags for each when I travel.

That 's nice ..My smartphone also has a small velvety pouch other than it having a casing . Men would say we are so much into accessories of our gadgets .

@SIMPLYD My man doesn't complain.. My gadgets always work the longest.. often times I may just have to switch from one to another because ..its really outdated.

I have a nicely cushioned bag to carry mine in. When something is not working properly, I find a tech to fix it.

The only "gadget" I have is the smartphone - and basically I have it in my little wallet thing and then I shove it all in my purse - ha ha. I also have a digital camera I carry with me (I don't like the smartphone camera), so I shove that in my purse as well. I've already dropped the purse and the gadgets but miraculously they still survive!

@SIMPLYD Yes, I also take care of my gadgets. I have screen protector for my smartphone even though it has a corning gorilla glass protection. But I don't have a cooling pad for my laptop, and I planning to buy one.

That one in the picture , i bought that from Lazada for only about 490 pesos including the freight charge . It's nice to use while you are propped up in bed . What is "corning gorilla glass protection" ? I am ignorant of that .

All I have is this little chromebook. It is fine for me and I need do nothing more than be careful with it and wipe it down with electro static cleaner every now and again.

I am more careful with my gadgets now because I already broke my laptop and my first every phone got also broken because my nephew always played with it one time throw it suddenly on the floor.

Just a cheap case I bought on Amazon. But I almost never use my smartphone when walking or when my hands are busy with something else, so the chance of falling are very low.

Yes, you can order one like that from Lazada . It's only less than 500 pesos inclusive of the freight charge . But at Lazada if you order more than 1000 pesos , the freight charge is free,

It is good to hear that you keep your gadgets safely and you take due care of all your gadgets. I keep my smart phone in a cover so as to protect it. I know it is a delicate object and without a leather cover, it could get damaged. My laptop also remains in a bag, when not in use.

I have an Otter Box case on my iPhone, and I am glad that i do, as it has fallen on the floor a few times, but nothing has happened to it, thank goodness. I have a case on my ipad minit too, which folds up like a portfolio. It has fallen a few times too, and nothing has happened to it either.

All my gadgets are Apple. I love my Apple gadgets. I always take care of my iPhone, I always make sure I buy the right case for it when I get a new one. My Mac is always on my desk and I clean it from time to time. And my iPad sits next to my Mac on my desk. I love my gadgets.

Im planning to buy my own cooler fan for my laptop but I've been busy with other things lately. Not to mention I got a fan as a substitute for a cooler, because the previous one doesn't work as much specially during a hot afternoon. nice laptop by the way, what brand is that?
