How are your discussions faring on here?

I'm happy with how my discussions are doing on here since my return a month ago. I've done as many discussions in a month on the new layout as I had in a few months on the old layout. So I'm definitely motivated to post more under the reborn myLot. 
A few of my discussions gained a good number of responses. And I'm proud to say that none of them receive zero response. To me, one or ten responses to a post are each equally appreciated. 
I'm glad to be back as an active member of this cool and friendly community. I've always enjoyed being on here since I first signed up in the beginning of 2012. And I was sad when I stopped being active as earning stopped. I left things as they were on here when I was inactive; and I'm happy that I can still return to see that part of my myLot history while continuing to build new myLotting experiences.

I am glad to be back too. i was a member for a few years before mylot changed and didn't pay anymore. I am happy that mylot is paying again. I have dones a few discussions since I came back, but not a lot. I prefer to respond or comment to other discussions, as Ihave more to say. I have always loved mylot, and the site to me is a little harder to naviagate, until you have been here for awhile, then it becomes much easier.

I just wish I had more time to be here! I'm still splitting my time with other sites, but really I am liking what is happening here. I think my approach is way different from way back when - I've become more seasoned in the past couple years I guess! In any case, I'm glad we're all back and creating new history here!

Seriously, I dont find myself in a situation where I think I should have a discussion. There is something (maybe more than something) missing.... and I am unable to identify that. Unless I find out, I think I will have very little discussions to start.

That's exactly how I felt on the other site, @thesids , after that first change they did to "improve" the site. It is easier to navigate there, now, but it still doesn't feel like home anymore!
I am still trying to figure this site out... I know I will get it, someday, but I feel useless right now.

I am also starting more discussions than I used to. I have had discussions still waiting for a response, but I am not in a hurry.
I am glad to see many old friends back here. I enjoyed myLot since the first day I joined, and I was sad when I saw people going away. It is a miracle that this site is alive again with quite the same core group of people

It is nice to know that a discussion thread continues to endure, even if the person who started the thread is elsewhere for a while, @sacmom !
I hope I get to make it to that place one of these days!
Right now, the site is kicking my tail... Too many things I am still not understanding here. I know if I keep working on it (and keep reading all the tips and hints you old members have given newbies) I will make it, though!

@sishy7 It seems you have created quite the conversation here at myLot! I am somewhat off to a slow start but I am branching out more and connecting to more people. I do hope that will bring my conversations back up to par and I will have long and productive discussions such as this!

Well, @shellann36 it just takes a game of hide n seek, you hide with the laptop n let the twins seek, who knows, maybe they'll search long enough for you to get a good discussions started.

it is good to know that you are happy and busy here ...I get 2 or 3 hours each day and that too not continuously so there is a limit as to how much I can post.I have not started too many discussions but for those I have started I have got a good response, I have been posting on other discussions ..

@sishy7 It is also possible that some of the other sites are displaying problems this weekend, so some new members here (namely me, LOL!) are not able to work on sites they would normally be on to work here, instead!

It's always nice to read posts from people like you who have been on this site for some time. I just started less than a week ago, and I'm quite happy with all the interaction that I get from my discussions. I'm glad you came back after the site got revamped.

Yes, we earn from interactions that we receive to our posts. And 'our posts' include our discussion posts, our response posts (to discussion started by others), and our comment posts (on all discussions - started by us as well as those started by others).

@Butchcass4 The old interface was easier to navigate and there were features on there that are no longer available on the new layout.
But it's ok, I'm making myself to be familiar with this one too so that I enjoy it as much as I can.

@sishy7 Thank you very much, I do appreciate the welcome! I am trying to get started here, but I am finding some aspects a bit daunting, at the moment...
I am usually on the other site simply to drop a post and then visit with old friends who are still there. I would really hate to lose them! (One of them invited me here, but I was already a step ahead of her with a new account when she invited me...)
Another site I work on is presently down (and has been all weekend), so I am working on familiarizing myself with this site.
