I watched this on Netflix, what a story. It is about grandparents who are raising their grandaughter who is bi-racial. The mother died giving birth to this child and the father is a dope addict who doesn't want her. The grandmother was in an auto accident and died leaving the grandfather to raise the child. The other grandmother now comes into the picture and wants the child. What ensures is the grieving grandfather is drawn into a custody battle over the grandaughter whom he has helped raise. Starring in this are Kevin Costner, Octavia Spencer and Gillian Jacobs star in this movie. Have you seen this Movie?

@Marcyaz such movies often comes in bollywood. Lot of emotions,crying,again emotions.Emotion has a higher place in Bollywood. there was a film called Paa which was about child with aging disease and emotions at full peak.

There is so much more involved in this story that I didn't want to take all the mystery out of it.

not yet, but that sounds like a good movie, i'll try it... "battling over child custody" movies are quite painful to watch though... i've seen "I am Sam" and "Any Day Now"

I must say that I have not, and it sounds like it could be inspired by a true story event. It could be an interesting movie. I must say it has been a while since I last saw a movie with Costner, this should be good.
