I am so tired today it's been hard to keep awake. I been trying to nap off and on but keep getting woken up by the phone or just cant sleep. Last night I slept from 9pm-1am and then was up til 3 and up at 9. I am here at my mom's by myself while my sister is at college and my mom is dealing with lawyer stuff with my step dad. I just think about my grandma alot and that's why I can't sleep. But soon I will be going to her house with family for pizza night and finish cleaning out her house so atleast that will keep my mind occupied. I just want one good night sleep, hopefully that will be tonight....

Right now you are doing what families do after losing a loved one..ou are stressed, emotional and overloaded with too many things, but it will get better as things die down and you can relax more..sleep is over rated..hahah

@rosekitty yeah it will get better in time. Having the family here and getting together sharing stories eating my grandmas favorite foods have helped. It will be sad once all my family goes back home and we go separate ways. But we made a promise to always keep in touch and we will get together for holiday's still.

That sounds like part of grief to me, our bodies tire as the emotional aspects of what we experience take so very much out of us. Just eat well, so that you do not get sick, and sleep/rest when and if you can.

I would be thinking how your grama would want you to act. She wouldn't want you to tense up over thoughts of her. Woudn't she want you to enjoy some good memories. Sure miss her but don't make yourself sick from lack of sleep and rest.

@celticeagle I'm not trust me. I just have trouble sleeping and losing her just makes it worse. Being with family this weekend has helped sharing stories of her and looking at pictures etc. Hoping I can sleep tonight.

It is natural to feel the way you do with so much happening around. As you say a good night's rest will put you back on track.

I also have some problems with falling asleep! My suggestion would to be to stop napping during the day. Even though it might be hard to stay awake, taking naps might be one of the reasons you can't fall asleep at night. Hope you get some time to rest!

It is so hard to sleep after the loss of a loved one. I hope you get the rest you need soon.

You will be ok in time. Just do what you need to do and take care of your self.
