Last night was not a very good night, so I was pretty slow in recovering this morning. I just feel a little better now and taking advantage of this moment to write a little something here. It is a gorgeous day today but unfortunately could not enjoy it. It is supposed to be even better on Wednesday, so I hope I am completely okay then. Anyone has some "feel good stories" to share with us? It would certainly be better to read those than all the bad stuff on TV news.

This is one of the main reasons that I gave up reading newspapers or watching the news on television. All they seem interested in publishing are the bad stories about crime etcetera.

@Asylum, you are so right, newspapers and TV news thrive on the negative stuff.

@marlina All that matters to them is sensationalism, which is what sells papers and attracts viewers

I hope you will be feeling tons better soon, so that you can enjoy the nice weather by you. I no longer watch news and prefer listening to music or watching some shows.

There are some good stories out there to read on here, maybe you have already read them, not sure. I don't watch the new or read the paper, always bad news in them.

I stopped watching the news just because it was more negative and attention seeking news.

I avoid the news in the evening because they are depressing. Today is a wonderful day and the temperature is still high.

I hope you will be completely well. To me, hearing someone is well and good is a good news. I am, and I thank God for this as I open my eyes this morning. The flower in your photo makes me feel good too.

I hope you'll be fully recovered soon. In Australia, an outsider won our most prestigious race. In recent years horses come from all over the world to complete in the Melbourne Cup. They might be owned by sheiks or big racing stables. But yesterday a local horse won. It was owned by a syndicate of battlers who in their wildest dreams wouldn't have thought of having a runner in the Cup, let alone a winner. And he was ridden by a girl so for Aussies, that's a good news story!
