I love what we call Mexican Food in Texas. I have no idea how it compares to Spanish, Cuban or Columbian as I have never had any of those.

Tex Mex is really popular around Dallas/Ft Worth and El Paso. Kind of hot for me, but has an unusually good flavor, especially the chili.

Besides rice and beans, we make lots of meaty soups with potatoes and yams, we also make many dishes with plantains, and we have our own lasagna called Pastelon made of sweet plantanes and beef and lots of cheese lol

I love authentic Mexican food, Asian foods, Italian foods, etc. Never had any Cuban cuisine yet. Feel free to recommend something there. I'm not picky

I enjoy just a plain taco, or some enchiladas, but that is the extent of my knowledge of that type of food. I'm not a huge fan of beans or spicy food, so much of it is stuff I probably wouldn't try.

I am Italian so I love Italian food more, but also French and Indian food. The Spanish food you eat in Spain is very different from what you eat in the South America and Caribbean Islands. I love real Spanish food.
