Sat On The Doorstep

I am currently sat on the front doorstep of our house as I only have a back door key, and there is a key in the others side of the lock
I have come home early as Katie was knocked off her bike earlier and has been with her sister since, as the shock took quite a toll.
The guy who hit Katie just drove off, this really is not the way to behave but sadly it is so often what happens here in the UK. Everyone is in a rush and really doesn't care about what happens to others which is really sad.
Thankfully it doesn't look like Katie has been badly hurt, but witg here having epilepsy we are not taking any risks. Oh life really is fun at times isn't it.

what a dingo bell for not stopping wow! I hope that haunts the person until they come forward.and confess. A few months back there was a young man walking along side the highway who got hit and he passed away. Still no one has come forward to confess it. It's hard for me to understand and accept this is the world we live in.

@mrtoffee Yes accident until they leave the scene. Seems they made it all the worse. Yes the gentleman who passed was only 21. I'm really glad your wife was not hurt badly and I guess I missed it...Hope you got into your house. I am sure you did though

Indeed @JudyEv it seems that people are more worried that something like this will cost them a few pennies rather than if someone has been badly hurt. Katie got lucky that is for sure, she has epilepsy and if she had hit her head it could have been a whole lot worse.

@mrtoffee In some Asian countries it's too dangerous to stop after an accident because crowds can attack you. But in our countries the right thing to do is stop and make sure the person is okay. They could like there injured for hours.

Thankfully she was just shaken up. Could have been a lot worse. Cycling doesn't have to be dangerous. In this country leaving the scene of an accident can get you into a great deal of trouble (if you get caught).

Katie is still a little shaken up @ladyduck but she is not badly injured, she has just jarred her shoulder which we are really grateful for. As for being locked out, it happens from tome to time
I don't mind as long as it's not raining, plus the wifi reaches to the front step which is cool.

The way some people act is wrong and its really a situation where they need to stop .

thankfully Katie wasn't badly hurt but it's sad when someone just runs off after causing an accident. Hope they catch the guy
